Ok get this Gaban fills the Sanji slot of Rogers crew but what if he had a bad sense of direction like Zoro so he was supposed to wait on Lodestar but when he got to Elbaf he got lost fell in love and is still trying to find out how to get off the island to this day. Also the main evidence that it's Shiki is that color panel that made his hair blonde but those color versions have been wrong in the past so saying it's Shiki so definitively is jumping to conclusions a bit.

Can we mention Sanji's reaction to Luffy crying once again about Elbaf's kids not being warriors though ? That was such a sweet moment for Sanji, a call back to his own childhood and how he thinks children should be raised, and adds complexity to the discourse on whether or not it's good (or sustainable) that Elbaf is changing to be more peaceful! Sanjji probably took it personally to a certain extent (even if he knows Luffy meant no harm) and is loudly calling out Luffy about his own beliefs on that matter which was great! I am delighted to see Sanji's arc remains relevant for the arcs that followed in such a natural way and it raises great questions for Elbaf's future!

I’m guessing Dorry and Broggy’s duel on Little Garden is a metaphor for the endless wars in Elbaf, where the original cause has been lost to time. Maybe the giants’ constant fighting comes from a deeper ideological split, maybe peace versus conflict, tied to inheriting Joy Boy’s will. It’s even possible the World Government set this up 800 years ago, deliberately keeping the giants in a state of perpetual civil war so they couldn’t unite and become a threat. Also Figarland has a Norse vibe that fits the Elbaf aesthetic. Maybe Shank's brother was sent to manage Loki, who might be pushing Elbaf in a direction that threatens the World Government, or to keep the peace-versus-conflict debate in check. Shanks has likely been watching from the sidelines, waiting for Luffy to arrive and "bring the dawn" and clear shit up. Bibelot the Owl and Imu probably know the whole story. Hell, perhaps that thing about staying too long on Elbaf is to ensure you don't get drawn into the conflict.

I think loki wanted to make elbaph stayed in violence route but his dad somehow wanted to make the country become more peaceful. My assumption is his late-father , king harold, was manipulated by the world government that somehow changed his way of thinking and makes elbaph to be more pacifist towards other countries and by doing this, he’s preventing elbaph to make another giant warrior pirates which potential ly will wreck havoc on WG territories. If Jarul didn't have the sword during Big Mom's flashback, then there is a certain moment in recent giant history when he could have gotten it that would tie into the main story. It was stated that it took the might of all the warriors in Elbaph to pin and lock Loki up. Jarul would have probably helped with the effort, being the old Chief of Elbaph. But, already passed his prime AND the age most giants die of olf age, Loki most likely was able to attack and damage Jarul, stabbing him on his head.

Ripley's husband would make more sense to be Shiki instead of Scoper Gaban. Because The Xebec pirates seem to be more family oriented ex: Big Mom, White Beard, Kaido, Stussy ect. But the Roger pirates aren't as much because as far as we know Roger was the only one with a child -Ace.

I take the power increase as mix of a lucky shot, holem underestimating tama, holdem having low will (defeated and forced to act as a commom bandit), tama having high will (training going well, luffy won etc) and Tama knowing some new tricks.
