EASILY the strongest out of the big three of lighthearted fantasy for me. Witch Hat, Dungeon, and Frieren. I definitely put Witch Hat at a qualitative pedestal above the other two. Hopefully it gets as much love as Frieren and DM got, and then all three of the beloved trio will be done full justice!

@@alexicon2006 I read the first 2 volumes of Witch Hat and I love the whole world/ magic system in it; out of DM and Frieren I would go with Frieren 1st; only because I relate to the story and message on a personal level, 2 goes to Witch Hat because I love the world and magic so much, 3rd is DM because it's a fun show and it can blend the funny, action, and dark moments fantastically and the food is just chef's kiss

i had JUST watched Takt: op Destiny around two months ago and it gave me heavy darling in the franxx vibes and since I loved D.I.T.Fxx I really enjoyed takt op, it obviously has its own allure but one thing I LOVED besides the animation/story/charecter interactions was the scores (music) and I mean LOVED the music (I listen to music 24/7 so having a really good piece(s) in anime is just a plus 10 for me)

I can't wait for fate strange fake. Also a funny fact. On the surface that universe is the exact same as the one from original stay night, but in reality it's completely unique from the entire nasu verse, because it's a timeline that takes lore not only from fate type worlds, but also from tsukihime. Normally either heroic spirits can be summoned or 27 dead apostle ancestors exist. In strange fake those elements exist in the same world and it's very unique.

Aside from Fate you got a good amount of the ones I plan on watching, including Honey Lemon Soda at the end, but there's others I think are worthy of being mentioned. I've heard nothing but great things about the manga for Medalist, and that's airing this coming season. Studio ENGI doesn't inspire the most confidence, but maybe they'll pop off idk. There's also the golf anime from Yostar Pictures, Sky Blue Utility. I saw the special for it that came out at the end of 2021, and I enjoyed it, so I'm looking forward to this too. We're also getting a few more noteworthy sequels, including the second seasons of 100 Girlfriends, Ishura, and the special for Undead Unluck.

I loved blue lock, my only issue with season 2 was all the still frame shots. Seemed like 75 % of the episodes were just still shots. It was still good, just found myself getting annoyed with it. Still enjoyed it for the most part though and will be looking forward to season 3.

Fate corrections: Fate/Zero was retconned into a “possible” timeline leading to the main 3 routes. F/Z is the 4th grail war. F/SN, UBW, HF are the 5th grail war Strange Fake exists in a timeline where F/Z and one of the other 3 routes did occur, but it’s not the same timeline. Also TYPE-MOON is anything written or supervised by Nasu, begrudgingly this still includes FGO which nick didn’t seem to understand.

Why does "Undead Unluck" never get any love? Season 1 was fantastic. Its getting a 1 hour special to kick off season 2 in the winter season. For something I thought I'd never read or watch, it's quickly become one of mine and my friends favorites. So a bunch of dudes in their late 30s to mid 40s, have been watching anime/reading manga for decades, and are extremely critical were all instantly hooked. Yet nobody ever talks about it. It's insane. Great story, great fights, many different aspects. We aren't asking for a 1 hour video on it. Just show it some dang respect and include it in some videos. Or at least mention it.

fate strange fake is going to be anime of the season. shun enokido, the director, is one of the best artists in the industry. part of the hakuyu go team thats dropped some of the best work of the last 10 years. all might vs nomu, sukuna vs jogo and mahoraga, shimazaki vs everyone in mob psycho season 2. they’ve already tackled date as well, with apocrypha episode 22 and the two episodes enokido directed himself. go team is the animation avengers rn, the group is formed around some of the top animators today, have worked with multiple legends, and they have an eye for new talent that keeps the squad growing. should be a whole lot of skill on display in these strange fake episodes
