If you want to watch it, just to get to the end, then you better not start it to begin with. The whole damn story is enjoyable, because Go D. a is a genius at storytelling. If you want to watch One Piece, you should only do it if you actually wanna know the story and wanna know what's gonna happen in the next episode, let yourself be taken away by the story. There is no point in "skipping" episodes as it will make everyting pointless and wont understand any refference or charachter motviation or you won't even understand how they naturally would act in certain situations, which won't make you understand why they make certain decisions in other situations. If you are not interested in the story after reaching Loguetown and completing it, then One Piece just isn't for you.

ONE PIECE and DRAGONBALL fans, I think y'all should know this: Monkey D. Luffy and Goku are inspired by Sun Wukong, The Monkey King. To summarize Sun Wukong for you guys, hes basically a 16th century superman...but like 50x stronger lmao. In Japan, he's literally known as Son Goku and his name translates to "monkey awakened by the emptiness." For Luffy, he directly fought a buddha (Sengoku in Marinefold). Also just LOOK AT HIM IN GEAR 5! He has such a similar resemblance to Wukong. You really just can't miss it! if this intrigued you, GO DO MORE RESEARCH! i almost guarantee you'll enjoy looking into this.
