There are a few things wrong in this video, SEC are usually 8 per case 4 of each for most sets that have 2 different SEC cards. They are counted as a Hit and take the spot of an AA card. SP cards are 2 per case for every set so far. Manga rares are yes still unknown exact rates but it’s likely closer to 1:3 cases the 1:2-1:6 Also to add, leader AAs are seeded differently to normal AAs and you’re guaranteed 4 per case. That’s all for English for Japanese half the number of cards or double the amount of cases. Eg japanese cases only have 2 leaders per case, 4 SEC, etc

Just got into this tcg and I try to get like 10 or so packs a week. I’ve prob opened like 60 packs so far and pulled the Rayleigh manga rare yesterday from two legends.

The Rarest Cards I pulled were 3 Special Rares, Yamato, Charolette Linlin and O-Nami. Never hit a Manga out of about 250-300 packs, but consider myself fairly lucky based on the pull rates your video suggests.

I think the rarest cards I have are the Eustass Kidd Wanted Poster (I was very happy with that find!) and the Secret Rare Gear 5 Luffy from the Awakening set. I would love to find a manga art version though.

As @Brim_the_Wizard said, while the MSRP is $5 (so if packs are available at the store you should pay that price), in many cases stores are out of stock and you have to buy packs from other places (i.e. the internet). It’s very similar to Pokémon reverse cards (the poke ball holos). They are rarer than their normal version but you are guaranteed to find at least one in each PRB01 pack!

As a newbie (regarding the cards) i have a question for my fellow strawhat friends: does this mean that i won't get a super rare from the romance dawn booster Box at all? Manga rare would be a possible thing? (with 10000% luck of course)

Pulling Super Rares is guaranteed in a booster box (you should find 7-8 of them), Manga Rares are surely a possible thing (in OP01 you can only find Shanks) although you should be extremely lucky to get it! 🍀

In % it's the same, but keep in mind that Japanese packs have half the cards in them with respect to English packs (and they should also cost half the price), so you'll find half the pulls!

Some pull rates are widely known, while for rarer pulls I cross checked the statistics of several people who opened hundreds of packs. Given that for large samples the pulls for rarer cards were very close across different people, I reported them in the video. The only statistic I am uncertain about concerns manga rares, as these cards are so rare that it’s difficult to establish a precise pull rate.

I couldn't find any reliable data, some people in Japan say it's 1 in 40+ cases (but I honestly think - and hope - it's less than that). Keep in mind that each case contains 12 booster boxes... 😒

So basically the pirate foils come from a specific set (PRB01 - The Best) where they actually reprinted some cards from the previous sets and added this new pirate foil. Then you have regular foiled cards (which are mostly the rares and super rares) and then you have more elaborated foils from alternate arts, special rares and manga rare that are really awesome! :)

in your opinion do you think one piece tcg has a chance to get as big as pokemon? I feel like one piece is already bigger than yugioh?

I don't think it will surpass Pokémon TCG (or at least over the next years) as the Pokémon card game is out since 1996 and it has become something incredibly big and almost different from the games. One Piece has a crazy strong IP provided by the manga and anime, so I think it can get closer, but much will depend on how (and when) the manga ends and what will happen with spinoffs (Pokémon effectively never ends, while One Piece can continue like Naruto with spinoffs, light novels, etc.)

It’s a unique case as it is a “special” Special Rare but the pull rates should be closer to Manga Rares (I couldn’t find any official nor reliable pull rates for it). The only thing I can say is that it’s super hard to pull and very expensive! 😬
