Remember Bullet can't one shot a 1.5 bil luffy while Kaido on the other hand one shotted luffy like he was nothing. This shows the difference of a Yonko first mate level and a Yonko level. I said Yonko first mate level because the movie stated that Bullet is as strong as Rayleigh 1st mate of Roger.

First of all, he's not canon so power scaling him is pointless. Assuming he was canon and what Buggy said is true. He'd be as strong if not stronger than prime Rayleigh, because of his devil fruit and his evil ambitions. Assuming Kaido beats prime Rayleigh, it'd be extreme diff. Movies always nerf villains like what happened with Shiki, so you never know for real unless the author gives you a clear hint or straight out tells you which one is stronger.

Its a musou/warriors game (Like Dynasty Warriors if you dont know what that means) so you basically fight an entire army by yourself in battle royale style, and each faction has its commanders so you get to fight all sorts of strange combinations of enemies at the same time

The power scaling in movies is always off.. remember shiki was supposed to be pirate king level, Zephyr was supposedly admiral level, Tesoro is hyped to be around admiral level too and they all got mopped by weaker versions of luffy who wouldn't even scratch an admiral. So take the "same level as Rayleigh" statement with a grain of salt, Bullet is nowhere near that if prime rayleigh was there instead of bullet it would've been marineford 2.0 At worst Bullet is slightly above Katakuri level, and at best he'd be around King level, nowhere near Kaido level. Kaido is a different breed

His weakness was his size, he's so much stronger in his base form cuz he didn't have any weaknesses to exploit. his immense size made him slow and cumbersome, and his attacks were strong, but they could be dodged or blocked if the opponent was fast enough. Luffy's Gear Fourth form allowed him to match Douglass Bullet's strength unlike snakeman which is primarily used for speed, while Usopp's Pop Green attacks were able to restrain and immobilize him while breaking apart his Armour from the inside. After this he was already exhausted from all the beating he got and the fact that he combined his devil fruit with haki for a while. Plus luffy kinda reminded him of Roger in the last fight which caught him off guard.

But the overall just ain’t it. And if y’all think I’m just a one piece Stan, I am 100 percent but best believe I have my issues, for one the anime adaptation is terrible, we get maybe 2 min of good animation vs 18 min of bad pacing/animation followed by flashbacks, Like I hated Naruto for the flashbacks but with one piece pacing they may surpass Naruto in the future with all the flashbacks 😤 now as for the fights there nice but nothing compared to bleach and Naruto one piece is really about it’s story and characters heck I believe they have thee best villains form the 3 And the manga man does it do a lot and I mean a lot of offscreeneing there’s so many potential fights that get offscreen why because oda loves being vague this is a pro and a con cuz we never know how strong characters are truly he does this because it helps him decide how strong these characters will be in the future. Con manga art is lacking as oda crams so much info into one chapter that the paneling is small which makes the fights or art suffer, Pro odas world building is so good the amount of info he drops is wild he has the Vivre cards the sbs questions the coverstoriee manga, anime only content etc… this gives us one piece fans so much to talk about that every week we be debating, which is why I’m more invested in op than Naruto, Yes there’s extra info for Naruto but even the author kishimoto doesn’t consider it canon he says there essentially fan art, it’s why the novels don’t fit so well with the original content as there not written or produced by kishimoto heck the characters backstory isn’t even made by him, he just illustrates it, designs them but puts no thought into the story. The story for Naruto ended when madara died 😂 the otsutski clan is just the anime industry maintaining there milk cow, just like how db was finished in 1996 and came back 2014 that’s 18 years of nothing and now we have monthly manga since then that’s 9 years of milking 😂 Sadly these stories will be immortalized and ruined by the very fans, same with op, mha, bleach, black clover, demon slayer etc…
