One-Shot Eclipse PvP Bounty Hunting in Star Citizen

Hey! Here's a short video about my experiences using the Aegis Eclipse Stealth Bomber in Star Citizen
It's no doubt a fun ship to use but it's so situational that it almost isn't worth it. You really have to pick your moment otherwise you end up chasing people round OM's and then having to rearm all the time. Still, really satisfying when you actually get one.
And yes, I know I called it a Sentinel Harbinger I just couldn't be bothered to rerecord the audio

It has a bit of a learning curve when you first start but then the system is your oyster!

It has a slight learning curve, but you should be OK after a couple of days. Biggest things are to pick some thing that you want to start out with and stick with it for a while. When example is bounty hunting the missions are super low pay at first, but as you level it up, then you start getting paid really good and you’re only going after NPC’s. For example, there’s one mission where you have to go land at this ghost something ground site. To kill an MPC for like 30,000 bucks but then you get an extra 10,000 for killing all his henchmen and there are three computers down there that generate money for you up to 175,000 each. So basically you finish the mission and you’ve made well over half 1 million

Awesome video! I have taken down Arrows with the Eclipse but it was a few patches back, maybe they changed something since. What's the fugitive recovery certification?

It's when someone escapes from prison, they physically have to do a mission to get a cutlass and clear their crimestat, so it pops up as a bounty when they escape.

Hello , cool bounty hunting ! I am a stealth's nazi with the Eclipse. With the new update it should be easier to engage your SEEKER without lock under 500 meter. Eclipse have a 500m Crossair Section in front ....

UPDATE EDIT : STEALTH procedure are not working at all !(1,7km with full stealth procedure) 3,1km with standar component active - ARGOS have the most accurate and splash ratio than typhoon and seeker. it was my test !

How is the storage room? Can it be used to transport anything?

Hey, it has no physical storage space but it has virtual inventory you can get a couple of kits in, not very much though

Are using normal systems or the stealth systems?

I bought the stealth systems but honestly it doesn't really matter as the EM and IR detection range is under 3k, and you can only engage with the torps at >2.6km so it's negligible for now IMO. I'm no expert though. It makes more if a difference on my Hornet Ghost as I'm having to constantly re-engage targets rather than one shotting them. And I'm running with shields on lol

Seeker the best missile of the 3? EM? Argos at 250 speed vs 500 seem a problematic?

I find the Seekers can get past people's flares a bit better as they are EM. I watched quite a good video on the Eclipse that suggested it, seems to work better than the Argos, haven't tried the 3rd one

I have tried, but I'm not a very good shot. It's going to take some trial and error to get it right but I kind of love just sitting back in the shadows and watching people panic at the size 9 heading their way haha

@@Lofty_o7 Yeah, Ive not figured it out either but Ill be damned if I didnt get blown up by dumb fire S9s twice in the claimer while out in the HH fields. I mean, you get zero warning at all. If I hadnt been perfectly stationary and already on high alert, Id have thought it was a collision with asteroid, but there was a tenth of sec flicker of a contact immed before kaboom, plus I heard others on global earlier saying the same thing. Anyway, it defo pissed me off as I wasnt CS but it was kinda cool nonetheless. This guy mustve done the full complement, ie: removing all but coolers, pwrplant, those being stealth A grade, no weapons beside torps, etc. Good luck figuring it out

Everything has changed with 3.23, you have to get quite close now and you'll have to have a look at the Advanced Keybindings for Missile Operator Mode - I'm still figuring it out myself

This was one of the funniest game loop we had.. was just so satisfying.. MM is dogshit. The eclipse is now absolutely useless and boring asf. Was by far one of my favourite ships.
