Update: First off, Happy New Years, everyone! Second, I’ve seen a few note that birds do glide backwards due to strong headwinds. I would like to get it out there that I was aware of this beforehand. However, if you watch the movement of the birds, they’re stuck in a loop around the undead settlement towers, never going anywhere. It’s like the myth of Sisphyus, perpetually trapped having to fly in one area for all time, always flying away but always coming back. Much like the players who still play Dark Souls. 👀 I’ve also been told that the Slumbering Dragoncrest Ring can actually HIDE your aura altogether! This will require more testing and potentially a second video on the greatbow. More videos coming soon! Thank you for your feedback! 🙌

I believe its the Untrue Dark ring that hides your Aura, not the Slumbering Dragoncrest ring. Although that ring will mask any footsteps you make Then again, 2 more points in INT, and you can just use the Spook Spell instead, which does the same, and makes you not take fall damage, which will be useful if you need to re-position while at low HP from the RTSR

This video doubles as a perfect explanation for why you take a huge penalty to stealth rolls after you shoot an arrow in games like D&D. My players never get it. It's because people see where the arrow comes from! Plus the bow and arrow makes sounds you can't control like the twang of the string or the arrow zipping through the air. If you're trying to be stealthy you might as well get a knife and go for the vitals. At least you can somewhat control the stealth factor there. Loved it, and I loved the voice-over stuff. It's what I watch with other SoulsTubers like Saint_Riot and Prod. Besides, you have a soothing voice that's easy to listen to. I like this type of content. Keep it up. :)

You don't seem to have spent much time watching large birds fly. When they glide into a headwind they seem to stand still while the wind pushes them up enough to not descend. It's quite magical to watch a bunch of raptors do this overhead. 0:12 Good video, otherwise.
@ardynizunia97095 жыл бұрын
I mean, just for the short clip at 0:12 I can see what you mean but generally the birds make no sense around that tower. Keep watching them fly after he zooms out again. Fromsoft actually just took that 2D animated sprite and made it orbit around this tower without the actual sprite rotating. So the birds actually fly backwards while going to the right behind the tower.

The Millwood Longbow's construction makes sense. That is why it should be superior to the two fat bows. It's wider in the center and actually tapers towards the bow ends. For the same, or lower strength requirement than the fat bows, the Millwood Longbow will snap from drawn state to release state vastly quicker than the two fat bows.
@fivesidedpixels49914 жыл бұрын
that’s fascinating to know. Though I doubt that detail was completely intentional on From’s part, it’s very cool that the design can follow some real bow logic. There’s much coverage on fantasy sword/armor design, but hardly anything on how to make a fantastical bow or crossbow.

Millwood greatbow is a greatbow of greatbows. It's a great bow. Also one thing to note is that Millwood has STR focused scaling ( C to A ) instead of the usual DEX ( E ), so it can be used on builds that consist of ultra weapons with great efficiency. Not to mention that the weapon art still works when your FP is too low, just the shot does a different sound and it deals decreased damage.

I thought that only a headshot would combo with the explosion. thanks for the info, maybe I'll try that sometime (but don't explosions deal less damage without FP? I actually don't know).

Great video! The commentary was a bit jarring at first, but I actually ended up really enjoying it. Can't wait to see what else you got in store.

I was tired of DS3 content, most of it is repetitive, but I liked a lot this exhaustive review of this playstyle. Quality content!

Wonderful video. I enjoy watching archer builds. I'm more of a Archer vs Bosses rather then a Archer vs Online Players, so I very glad someone like you and others who would go to the extreme risks to go this far with arched builds.
