Something that makes the situation more tragic, is that BOTH Anastasia and Alexander are being reasonable, if we were in Anastasia’s place our reaction to that happening would have been the EXACT same as Anastasia, and if we were in Alexander’s place our reaction would have also been at least similar

No wonder why Gilbert didn't care about Anastasia despite being "friends", they were never friends to being with. Sure they are friends now but, it clear that the whole relationship have been one-sided mainly from Anastasia at the beginning and likely now. Honestly, the worse part about their past is that Gilbert sees his mother in Anastasia and it's not a pretty comparison knowing the kind of "mother" she was. I hope Anastasia reunite with her brother and forgive him. Mainly because based on what he said, he was trying to protect her from their father, especially since their older sister was on a similar path but, was killed along with the slave she was in loved with (That poor older sister, I also hope Anastasia will meet her as well).

In all honesty, Gilbert not being able to remember Anastasia is quit a normal reaction, he has been enslaved muiltiple times and so what makes Anastasia any special? Heck it’s clear he would have rather forget her as he clearly is afraid of her as she reminds him of his mother who clearly abused him and so his reaction is normal as many people would have reacted similar, but it’s still tragic for Anastasia as she loved him

I see both sides to everybody in this situation. ❤️ 1) Alexander just wants to protect his sister Anastasia(not sure if she's older or younger yet, hope we get age's soon.). It also sounds like there was another sister that's story didn't end well on how he reacts to Anastasia being in love with Gilberts. Also sounds like the "father" had something to do with the sister's fate. We also didn't see the mother so something much have happened to her too. Alexander just wanted her safe but forgot to ask her opinion. 💛2) After EVERY SINGLE THING Gilberts when though with his "mom" his reactions are understandable as well.... Gilbert's Dad also is not seed yet so something happens to the father (I really think the "mother"). We also didn't know if there are any signs of siblings too. 💙3) Anastasia didn't know fully of what was happening. Am guessing she might have lived in her house a lot of the time.🏡🏠🏡🏠 Cause it was common way back 🔙 then.(I didn't know the time of this year for this storyline hope we get an answer....) I hope Anastasia 🥰🥰 gets to see her brother again soon along with her sister!! And maybe Gilbert might remember her one day it's never to late, to become friends. Alexander is trying his best, it clearly seems as he cares a lot about his sister which is sweet of him, but he clearly is being a coward, a reasonable one, but still, a coward nonetheless, well I can understand him and his reaction as he’s just trying his best for his sister and he doesn’t want her to be hurt he seems as to neglect her feelings, he should take in-consideration of what his sister( Anastasia) is feeling and and while yes, it may in-fact help them live longer she clearly would have preferred if she lived with Gilbert rather then live by herself, though he’s still reasonable nonetheless

I was waiting for this for the entire week. But y'know I feel bad for both of them, Ana didn't have a dark past like Gil but she still suffered with a scary father and follows rules to avoid any incidents, but then the first person she loved the most just doesn't remember her in the end. Even in the future after that one sided Friendship I really hope one day they can make-up and be actual friends. Now I'm curious on what happened to that brother and sister of hers- Either way Ana just wanted a friend to be honest and I'm trying to even figure out how she feel on love with Gil since the guy just gives her food- And for Gil he just wanted to rest and he was kind of reminding her of his mom which I feel so bad for :'D He may be a bastard in the future but the dude just wanted to rest and now going back to Heaven's savior the fact that he didn't yell back at Naomi for mocking his past just really shows that he's already used to getting looked down on like that so much. He was my Second favorite character in this series because I kept on laughing on everything he does but now he's my second favorite because I feel bad for him😔

that's really sad considering someone you wanted to have a good relationship (friend or partner) but all they see you as is just a random person in their life, I can kinda relate because there used to be a youtuber of the same religion as mine and I wanted them to be friends with me, trust me, I comment on all of their videos and made videos on my channel about how great they were and they once made a video showing me but later deleted it and as time passed on, they didn't pin me or their true fans but their idol who comment after months....to them, we all were nothing but random people for them :{ They deleted all of their videos and also quit youtube with just a video that they can't make videos like they used to because of religion and stuff and I felt so betrayed because that person was someone who I had hope for the first time....I didn't delete videos featuring them but I won't delete them because I'm not like that and those videos will always be a lesson to not have high hopes for anyone but myself.. thank you for reading this.. Ah, so she *did* have feelings for him. But unfortunately it was one sided. It hurts seeing her so heartbroken after coming to that realization, that she can’t have a bright future with the man she loves. But then she comes to terms with that reality, and instead settles for being Gilbert’s friend. Unfortunately that relationship was one sided too…. But she already knew that.
