Thanks for the great videos just picked one up today and its insane. 16 years ago when I bought my first amp this is exactly what I wanted and needed. Took a long time to find it lol.

Great video Sean! I've had this amp for a couple weeks and am impressed.

The distortion sounds like a jar of bees

i wonder if chickenhead knobs would fit on that, instead of those rectangle type it comes with.

Sean, great video! How exactly do you have your Gig Rig 2 connected? Is it like a 4 cable menthod or TRS cable from channel/tight jack to your gig rig?

Thanks for watching! To answer your question: I have 2 TRS cable plugged into the switch jacks on the back of the amp. Those go into the G2’s remote switch jacks which are TRS and each controls 2 remote switches. The FX loop and duck is set up 4 cable method style.

Maybe mine was messed up , but I thought it was a horrible sounding amp . I think the classic 20 is really good . But this one was really bad and it was so noisy and the gate made it quiet , but was a horrible gate

Same here. Was really excited for it but returned it same day.

Can an external IR be used when speaker defeat is pressed? Is that the same function for the 6505 mh ? Wondering if you can disable the onboard IR in favor of a loaded IR in a DAW plugin.

Hughes and Kettner Grand Meister Deluxe 40 is more feature packed. Soundwise it's mid. However, if the features, versatility, utility, compactability/transport is what you're going for it will not let you down. Just get a good cab/IR to make the sounds a little better

Yeah, I'm not too crazy about the gain sounds of the small H&Ks. good cleans but the dirt is a little fizzy. I'm also not terribly crazy about built-in effects since I have so many pedals.
