No its just a typical 'Fú' character. I have one in the living room, doesnt nessesarily need to be chinese new year. It means fortune/luck/happiness. And then some chinese families like to hang it upside down. And upside down in chinese is dào. So it reads Fú dào. Its a word play, dao means upside down but also sounds the same as 'arrive'. So it means 'Luck/furtune/Happiness Arrives'. Hope you guys find learning languages is fun because they cant be fully translated, you need to be fluent in both languages to get the full meaning.

I think that important theme in this cartoon is careerism and inability to control it. Some people want to live a bright and flaming life so much so they lose the patient and real(in my opinion) part of life which is simple social interactions, love(yep) and just state of being lazy. I am not saying that career goals and stuff like that is not important and cant give pleasure and happiness. I am saying that the balance between these two edges is, in some way, the ultimate way to live a life.

Filmnya sangat menginspirasi!

In this film, a very big sense than it seems at first glance. I want to say that this short cartoon very well myself. But let's move on to the meaning. Here it is clearly shown that the girl wanted to go to the moon. She tried to go towards her goal, but since her father (or this grandfather) died, she was ready to say goodbye to her dream. But she collected her thoughts, and everything worked out for her. Here the girl is shown as an ordinary person, her grandfather as hope, and Luna as fate. Very touching movie, thank you for this masterpiece.

Watching this film in 7 minutes made me feel a lot more than I could ever hope from a 4-hour film.

This made me cry like a fucking baby. I love my dad so much ;-; I already know I'm going to be absolutely destroyed when he passes away. I can't even think about it without crying my eyes out. Cherish your dads, y'all.

This story made me sad - thinking about my father and my estranged daughter - but also happy that Luna could reach her goal. Thank you for posting!

What is this liquid coming from my eyes? I didn't want to cry, i-I'm sorry I shouldn't cry it has a happy ending right? Why am I crying? I'm crying and I shouldn't be crying. What's wrong with me?

Me: pff this is going to do the parent dying cliche I've seen this a million times I won't be fazed by this Guy: you ok? Me: yes *sniff* I've seen this a million times *cries*

This is why cliches are useless to point out, it's incredibly difficult to come up with a story that's truly original, most of them have been done already. Stories should be looked at for execution, not originality.

everyone talking about many things yet, the most devastating part is she will never be able to share this moment with her father, and it hurts like no other, the loss of a loved one is something, and not being able to share your achievement your happiness with them is another tragedy, I am still crying.
