MIL loved gerberas. Her favourite was a bright pink with a dark (black? brown?) centre. Sadly she died about 6 months after I married her eldest. Now the fam seems to avoid hippos (her favourite animal) and gerberas and so on. I cried while watching this. Kinda happy/sad. She was a LOVELY woman. If she hadn’t died way back when, she would have been the mother I always wanted.

First, I love the new stamp set. Second, purple is my fav, 😍! With regard to storytime... I have enjoyed your channel for years, because of your amazing talent and your sense of humor, which comes through in your stories. I've noticed the lack of stories lately and find myself fast forwarding through the videos. Your new format is fine and you're a wonderful teacher, but I don't think I'm the targeted audience for these videos. When I sit down to watch a video, I don't want to take a class, I want to be entertained. I would 100% watch a "make something pretty" storytime video!

Fabulous stamp set and cards Kelly! Wowza- I love them all and the colors make my purple-loving heart happy! I like the idea of a series of videos where the focus is on story time while making a pretty card! I am thrilled we get more videos from you, but do miss story time. So some “catching up with Kelly” time would be great to look forward to! Even without instructions, I could watch you color for hours - and then to have story time too? That would be very cool! Heck, if it would save you time, I wouldn’t mind if you had two different voice-overs for the same video: one purely instructional and the other purely story time. People can watch one or both (I’d watch both!).

I’ve been watching your videos since 2019. I understand our lives take turns, that things change etc. I know it’s not really realistic but, speaking as a very isolated disabled woman, I feel like you’re my friend, my social contact for the day (apart from my husband). I just want to watch you create. Whatever format you want, whenever you want or feel able, to share snippets of your life is fine. Those cards are gorgeous, and I love that the flowers are big and the center of attention. I especially loved the background of the outer part of the arch on the third card. When you said that part wouldn't be wasted, I tried to figure out how to use it; I didn't even consider using it on a different card. Your explanation of how and why you did each step made the process appear easy to do. This video is my first time watching you, and your teaching technique convinced me to subscribe.
