Thanks for what you do, love your discussions. Just another perspective on veganism: I have 3 rescue hens. They are wonderful intelligent creatures who have a great free range life with me. In fact some would say they are spoilt. Every morning they leave me a wonderful gift, an egg that nourishes us. I believe it would be immoral to discard it. It's a gift from nature and I appreciate and enjoy it. What are your thoughts? Also I don't believe all creatures are the "same", they are different and valuable in different ways. Free Palestine!

One other thing about Standing Together that might not be apparent from within occupied Palestine is that part of the reason it is viewed as more radical in the diaspora is because the "Friends of Standing Together" groups aren't just citizens of Israel. So that entire (important) aspect of the problems with the group is invisible (for both intentional and unintentional reasons)

48:32 there is nothing objective about rating and comparing the worth of a life. that's a very ignorant thing to say, straight up dunning-kruger effect. you're calling it objective because that view is so purely subjective that you lack any rational awareness of its subjectivity. you're positively making the claim that "all lives" are of equal "worth" based on no reasoning. even if it was impossible to rate "life worth" differentially, that doesn't make lives "objectively equal", it just means that you don't know. if you refuse to graduate "worth of a life" between species, as one would normally do based on estimated degrees of sentience or consciousness, then you can't eat plants either because you have no basis for differentiating between animal life and plant life. and you're definitely eating plants, and probably fungi too.
