Shes moving right along - a lot of hard work pays off... Even back halfing a third gen could take months, mines just x275 cage and subframe/ k members, and that took forever. Keep up the good work homies

Good call on the rear window! In an air foil i.e wing, the trailing concave shape is the lift point. That is where the low pressure area lingers. If you create that shape on your rear window, it will lift the car up. Keep gusseting! Dynamic weight is still better than dead weight, stiff buck is better than floppy load carrier. Those doors look awesome, but the roof needs wire brushing. Second coat of spray is dead weight.

Ryan you need to find you a cheap iron worker for the shop. It makes metal work so much easier for punching holes or cutting smaller metal. They have cut blades , hole punches, notchers , angle cutters , etc all on one machine.

I think if your doing those dimple dies for support that is cool! I do think that you should do them in odd numbers... it was something I was tought as a kid that odd numbers look better if it isn'e symetrical. It is amazing how much work goes into building a car. Keep it up, the content is definitely appreciated!

@assaultlick21698 ай бұрын
Kinda surprised he's getting it recert'd. Doesn't seem like any events guve a fug about any safety equip, cages or diapers. That said, I'm glad he's doing it right. Lot of guys out there would be a hockey puck after having a blowover at the stripe

@@assaultlick2169 NPK checks, I'm pretty sure, so if he wants to run small tire, there, he'll need it. Better to have it and not need it, then need it and not have it. I'm building a 25.3 chassis, right now.
@assaultlick21698 ай бұрын
@@funfun8095 yeah, I'm glad to see he's got an over built cage. Definitely makes the difference between rebuilding a car and scrapping it after a blower over like that on the big end .... 25.3 is pretty serious, man. Have fun in your rocketship 🚀

The new track here close to us that is opening this year requires it, as well as some other events. Not many but like you guys said better safe than sorry. That would be a shitty way to get DQ’d from a race, especially if it was a long drive 😂

Wtf no more wing Ryan? I think that might be a mistake the down force you get to the back tires is unreal and then you can take the weight out of the back of car it's almost a must to run run a wing if you are running backsides and light prep I think you will be putting the wing back in the future.
