Oh ya 100% been in it for about 3 or 4 weeks. I don't get a fall nectar flow, once the native weeds and turned off about all I get is a Ton of pollen. The CSA farm across from me make a good bit of pollen most of the growing season but not much nectar. He does plant other flowers for me bees like sunflowers and such also. I am beginning to understand why I am not in a high population beekeepers area.🤔You can keep bees here but here most definitely better parts of the county to do it in.😂Thanks for stopping by and commenting, Blessed Days...

We have too many small hive beetles around to put pollen patties on Im considering putting a dusting of pollen sub powder on the inner cover ? That way it wont get rained on

Could you put dry sub in an open feeder, I have seen other beekeepers do that where they can't feed patty. One thing that many beekeepers I follow have found that helps is peppermint. they will crush the peppermint up into the patties and it seems to help with SHB's a lot. It looks like the peppermint helps mast the hive from the SHB's.

I am just using the garden hose as the feed line for the mixing tank. I was just trying to be quirky with the name.😁
