Top tip... if you select a pot that is larger and fits over your jar, you won't need to cut the pot up.
@SharonRepici7 сағат бұрын
Propagation often depends on light. Covering your water jar could prevent growth, plus you have to raise the stems further out of the water to refill.

That is an awesome idea. I sometimes use cling wrap and poke holes in it but that's better.

This would’ve been a great solution the other night when I found myself making a tape grid to keep my pepperomia cuttings from falling over/slipping under the water! The tape worked fine, but I ended up moving them to tiny sauce cups in fluval stratum instead anyway.

@maurawitzel431316 сағат бұрын
But what about when the roots start growing? You going to thread them through the holes, or create plastic waste by cutting up the top?
@janettejohns243212 сағат бұрын
The roots will easily pull through those wholes. Shop ones have even smaller holes. Just use pots with the bigger wholes
@mamalongsplants155914 сағат бұрын

But how do you get them out ? They’ll grow roots in every possible direction…
@beesknees21314 сағат бұрын
You can carefully pull the roots through the holes OR cut the plastic and then pull the roots up and out.
