Another good one , your right I've only ever see all the "experts" show it like you said with the layers of stuff , personally I don't go Into the woods without my filter system, that said you'll have to fill us in here in a week or so to say if you got sick in anyway. My luck I'd try that and have it flowing out both ends at the same time lol

You're doing right. I'm just glad you're out there showing people this stuff because I'll guarantee you they ain't that many people knows that. You asked what you could use for a straw? I'm pretty sure this is part of that same video where you made your fire with the canes so you could get the smaller or top part of the cane and uses as a straw. I always used to carry a small one of those with me and there's probably one in my pack somewhere. Anyway good video keep them coming

In a survival situation, just pour it back through instead of pouring it out. It will clear up eventually! I was surprised to see you pour it out instead of refiltering it! But absolutely love the series so far!

@@ONThree in your scenario i would not have drank that That kind of filter won't take out many microbes, and you used standing water In a survival situation id rather stay thirsty and look for other water sources than get sick, lose more water from diarrhea and fever and die of thirst anyway.

To be honest, its getting hard to hit the thumbs up on this stuff. Zero tools are needed to wander around picking up rubbish. Maybe I will change my mind when you use that perfectly fine looking knife...? Nope, zero skills needed to pick up your kids baloon fill it with water and place it out in the sun for uv light to treat a lot more water than you did. Out of respect for your other works Im not going to hit the down thumb, but for me.. you dont know how to get water using your knife..make container, then...
