I don't see how anyone can watch this episode and not ship Leyton. It's the most epic love story, it was always meant to be. And my god, the extract from the book... I get chills everytime I hear it. And the fact they they tied Peyton's car to their relationship, the metaphor of the comet... No words. Anyway, I know you saw the episodes so it's not a spoiler but I really hope you warm up to them in s6 ^^

Lucas did this to himself. I honestly think growing up in a town with the father and brother who rejected him from birth to his teens really damaged his self-worth. He never believed Peyton loved him so he never allowed himself to love her even though deep in his heart he knew he did. Sad.

I really don’t understand what do you mean. Lucas was a much better partner/boyfriend to Lindsay then he wants to Brooke. None of his actions were delivered or done out of malice. He just tries too hard to stay on the path that he chosen even if it’s for the wrong reasons. Peyton’s character is not badly written you just don’t understand it or like it her character has flaws and issues just like every other character which I believe every other character except for Lucas and Dan seem To get more understanding and compassion for their mistakes and flaws. I said it before that Lucas and Dan are the two most complicated characters on the show but I’ll have to add Peyton to that as well. I’ll also have to amend my statement that Lucas is the most misunderstood character and include Peyton in that category.

@@MH-pd2evNah Lucas tried to win Brooke back and actually waited for her and didn’t cheat the 2nd time they got back together and was genuinely in love with her … Brooke allowed her insecurities and fears to take over which is what ultimately ended their relationship. Lucas was a lot better the 2nd time around compared to the first … he told Peyton he was in love with Brooke, he took the destiny shot, there were implications that showed that Lucas was in love with Brooke ie his book, Brooke being the queen of hearts, brucas pretending to be engaged etc…
