AOD has become useless, in my country they removed the option to set a custom wallpaper, custom clock, you can't adjust the brightness anymore, half of the features shown in this video are missing so One UI 6.1 is worse than 6.0😢

I'd like to understand why certain companies use a naming convention for releasing versions that includes intermediate numbers, like 6 and then 6.1, instead of directly moving to the next whole number, such as 7. Whole numbers represent a major updates. The one ui 0.1s represents then perfecting the whole versions. In a sense 6.1 should have been what 6 is.

There is no way you can record calls is those phones as they are legally not allowed to record calls. Even if u install an app, it won't work properly as the software isn't letting it. Myself using an S23 ultra international variant got from UAE. So better leave the idea of trying to record calls on this device else u might land up in installing some rubbish Chinese apps fake apps. Enjoy rest of the phone. Cheers

Im impressed by how many youtubers give the false information that apple invented AOD wallpaper. Samsung invented it with galaxy s8 and apple stole it and changed it a little bit. Im not happy with people giving credit to apple for things they didnt invent but they stole from android phones!

But I was just saying what I felt, I think you should not quote any general thing like you said about customisation, Every phone will have some unique features and customizations, I was just saying that Samsung copies the specific features, You quoted the lockscreen customisation, IOS is not about customisation, I feel it is more about User Experience, In Samsung you have thousands of features but you only use a very few of them. Tell me who uses wallpapers on Alarm? These kinds of features are being pushed on Samsung phones ! It's their understanding with respect to software. And then they copy anything which is really usable, In this update, In this update Samsung copied Lockscreen(see how bad it is), Find App, Wallpaper on AOD, Adaptive colour tone, Adaptive charging (from pixel), They are trying to compete with Airdrop with quickshare😂, Titanium chassis (Sadly Grade 2😂), They are bad at copying things also. At least OnePlus is able to copy it better, leading to a better choice in Android.

In oneui6.1 , Samsung changed sim icons in sim manager , there is no sim icon which shows sim1 or sim2 which was there earlier, again very problematic when using dual sim.

this stop charging feature is in s23 6.0 as well, even if my device is switched off it stops charging at 85% .. on other of my phones if i switch off n then charge it continues to charge till it gets to 100% .. so yah samsung good job on that.. n really good battery life as well ..

I updated my tab s8+ to one ui 6.0 but after 10pm it automatically turns on eye comfort shield like tint and can't be turned off manually. I tried everything and the only thing that works is to change the time zone of my tab. I hope samsung fixes this issue😢

You should see my lockscreen. Like iPhone they wish. My video is jumping of the screen. Plus i have a scrolling text ticker going across the bottom. And i still get 3 to 4 days battery life on S23U. Never use AOD i have a smartwatch.

There is one bug is system settings which samsung says thats how it is implemented to work. I think that's really idiotic of them. When using dual sim and change option to "Always ask" instead of choosing any sim1 or 2 as default, when you disable any one sim the option changes to "other enabled sim" but when you enable back the sim the option is still stuck at other sim instead going back to "Always Ask". Believe who uses dual sim its very problematic. Just posting in public domain for others to see and check it and send feedback to samsung to correct this.
