1. DepthFXWallpaper in the play store for the clock behind wallpaper effect 2. No native blur (there used to be, but now reduced animation seem set as standard).. First ensure reduced animation setting is off...then play with the 3 animation scales in developer settings. Predictive back animations in dev settings is nice too, had it on so long I'd forgotten about it! And if you just want blur.....nova launcher

I really don't like the new, very rounded corners in the Notification Panel, I think the older, more square-ish design looked much better. Additionally, on the Lock Screen, I dislike the new position of the notifications. I believe the central position was easier to access than the upper-left placement. The new "song control" in the Quick Panel is also something I personally don’t like, I preferred it in the old Notification Panel. Furthermore, I’m disappointed that there’s no longer an auto-brightness toggle next to the brightness bar. I also miss the old App Drawer, for me, the non-vertical layout with the search bar at the top was much better. I’m not a hater, there are features I like a lot, such as the Now Bar and the new battery icon and animation. However, One UI 7 is not that exciting for me due to these drawbacks.

That is an expected behavior because the phone continuously gets updates and is installing them after the official update. It adapts to the changes just like with iphones.

I really hope Samsung gives us the ability to sort the content within their apps. Like for example, their settings app is a mess in the version 6 build of One UI. Some settings categories are randomly grouped together with no labels, and there's no organization. It takes forever to look through settings and settings submenus when options are thrown around with no order. Even just sorting alphabetically would be nice. If this ability alresdy exists, please let me know. 😅

They are taking over some of the iphone/ U.S. market. As someone who had a 15 pro max and now has a s24 ultra, I think it looks beautiful. Can't believe it took them this long to learn that the gallery and camera app should not be the same color lol! Settings app icon looks good too, a little more serious. I love the switch of the notifications being shown from a left swipe instead of a right swipe. Notifications shouldn't have ever been by the quick settings. Only thing that I am not sure of is trading the large lock screen media controls to a small one that's on the bottom. It is nifty that it's at the bottom since its a large phone. I guess that's one more thing, i like that the app search box is at the bottom now too.

I will definitely check out S25 ULTRA considering current improved looks with Samsung's ONE UI 7 beta. Currently rocking iPhone 16 pro. Symmetric status bar icons (now improved battery icon) / Widgets that can be set symmetrically instead of weird shapes all around are the kind of little details that matter, byt unfortunately google / stock android team members lack the ability to pay attention to such little details that most def. have an effect on final user experience and establishing a difference between half-baked-%&@ and candy so to speak :), therefore I really appreciate the improved looks seen with Samsung's ONE UI 7 beta

I enjoyed the couple of weeks I had with the S24 Ultra. But coming from Apple, muscle memory was a B to get over. Hopefully swiping is a lot better with the beta, as well as "Modes and Routines". As someone who had something set for Work, Home, etc. it just wasn't as 'refined' as it is on iOS. I'm curious as to if the beta addresses those things. (Also a slight nitpick I had: I couldn't use Magsafe while using the S Pen to jot down a quick note. Might have been the Popsocket I used but that is quite an issue, too. Maybe the 25 Ultra gets that fixed, though.)

Yeah that's a known issue that magsafe accessories can affect the spen. The phone normally gives a warning about it too. Sucks for ultra users, but the rest are ok.
