Interesting facts about this song: 1) Is the first song on Queen's "A Kind of Magic" album (June 1986), more commonly referred to by the public as the Highlander soundtrack, even though it officially is not. 2) This Song WAS, however, in a different movie, Iron Eagle (January 1986), released two months before Highlander (March 1986). 3) This song IS on the Iron Eagle soundtrack, also in the first position on Side A. Thus making it a the first Queen single to be released on TWO soundtrack albums, one official and one not. I wonder if Queen always intended it to be on that album or not. There are two other songs also on the album that were NOT in Highlander as well. Perhaps that's why A Kind of Magic never officially became the soundtrack to Highlander.

Some tracks the way they are mixed the vocals can be removed more easily than others. I have used some software that can do it. One that is free is called audacity.

This is not the original track. She made these. I’m glad someone else noticed because I’m pretty sure she does each instrument individually using midi. That’s what she told me before when she replied to a comment I made about it a couple years back. It’s just as, if not more impressive than her singing. I mean she gets it all note for note. Sometimes she even transposes them to a different key. This one is in the same key Queen did it in.
