so of that 100k how much do you really make after taxes??

FBI Well, in this example, 100k would be your taxable income, so it depends on whatever your tax rate is. Also, keep in mind that this would be just the business’ profit and the owner typically would be paying himself a salary as well (into his personal account) and this is accounted for as a part of your business cost. So the owner can pay himself a very fair salary and also the business is making net profit.
