As a Vernon local for 22 years now I’m glad you enjoyed your time in the Okanagan. Come back anytime. BTW, for those that like it hot come here in July and August. It been 27 at night to 39 degrees Celsius (102.2F) for two weeks now. 🥵 I’m ready for September already. 😆

Kelowna has a huge University (UBCO) and shortage of housing big dev being built in downtown. You missed the quiet and eastern beaches and hiking area in Kelowna - next time check it out. There are so many areas to explore. Winter - cold, cloudy and skiing, snowshoeing, skating - a lot of outdoor activities.

Nice to see Kelowna from another perspective. "No Arc'teryx, unfortunately." - New Arc'teryx store opened in June 2024. You would have likely walked past it at 13:53 coming from Parlour.

What's your contingency plan for breakdown in the middle of nowhere? I have AAA but I've never used it.

We have car insurance and have been lucky to not have to use it in a breakdown in the middle of nowhere, but that would be our contingency plan.

It’s just like any city, large or small. Stay out of certain areas where the people are having a harder time and you’ll be just fine.

Lived here for 27 years and have never felt unsafe. We hardly ever hear anything bad on the news. Beautiful place
