We went to Norway and found the nicest and most unique people. From a town called Hell to taking naps in the snow. This is why we love Norway!

As a Norwgian, Scandinavian and European which isn't a ''race'' btw, I laugh at these types of videos. Different country, culture and society which is why it's normal. Not just here but in all of the Nordic countries in regards to have babies napping outside in their strollers. I heard this was also common in Britain and the US before everyone got so overprotective and turned their kids into vegetables. I blame Super Nanny lol. My parents never did that with me, then again I came here as a baby being adopted. And it's not true that we leave them alone and untatended, which is more common if at home, and not out in public. Norway is a much safer country, and we have more trust between each other and in general in our society. Why this even works. If at a cafe, or restaurant, or even when shopping, there's always a parent keeping watch, close by the window or near the door, the employees keep watch so do other customers, and even people who pass by. I've never heard of any baby being kidnapped out of their stroller and I'm half way to 40 growing up in Norway during the 90's and 2000's. Personally no one in my family did this, but I have frinds who does. Also that it's so cold here or always snow is a stereotype. We have in fact all 4 seasons, and during summer it's hot. Due to climate change it's getting worse each year. Less snow and shorter winters, longer summers that are dry and hot, which also impacts our famers, as Norway is after all a farming and fishing nation. Also Hell doesn't mean hell in Norwegian. Hell in Norwegian is ''helvete''. Hell actually means ''luck''.

It is probably an exaggeration that we leave the children outside when we go to a supermarket. But if we are in a cafe etc. it is normal. We have an eye on them. Everything in this video is nonsense. There's no evidence to support Norwegian kids are less sick - in fact, rather to the contrary. The only positive effect of sleeping alone outside, assuming this is the case, is making kids slightly more independent and the training only works for the five minutes before they start screaming for mammy. Then they feel they are completely alone in the world, which is a good thing. Sleeping inside doesn't give the same effect because it is too cozy. If health is important kids should only get fresh air by airing the rooms fifteen minutes a day. There is no evidence to support taking in more pollution gives better health or longer life. Again, quite to the contrary.
