I went 42 days in the hospital only drinking a glass of milk and sometimes a cookie and lost 45 lbs. Didn't eat anything but one or two hospital cookies per day. They were giving me big meals but their food was horrible. I refused to eat it. I looked great with a flat belly but left the hospital in a wheelchair. Lost tons of muscle mass laying in a bed for 42 days. I made up for lost time when I got out.

I have heard of milk diets that are low fat to decrease fatty liver prior to bariatric surgery. Lowering calories is supposed to be the secret to living longer. Sounds like an interesting way to shake up the metabolism.

Thanks. The VA is always trying to find something because I am 65, and to them way past time for high blood sugar, fatty liver, or diabetes. Like to keep them on their toes since they can't find a thing😅

Not much actually. A little bit but probably less than I would drink during a "normal" diet. :)

My reason is totally different from you and even from the people in the comments. I'm trying to ease my transition to go back into my carnivore diet again. I have a binge-eating disorder and I can't have carb cheat meals because I lose control. Knowing that, we went out and have one pizza cheat that ended up in a full week of pizza meals for me, from leftovers, and so to quit, I ended up becoming a keto pastry chef on the upcoming week and now all that almond flour lead to ruining my stomach lining and I feel terrible! I just want to take a break for three days with just RAW milk, it must be raw, guys. There's the nutrition for a fast with milk, there's no way around it. This is my first day with just: coffee, raw milk from my local farm place, and raw yogurt if I want it. I will take it easy today, and tomorrow I will eat eggs with my raw milk consumption, if I want it too. I'm doing the carnivore diet to heal my body from fibroids and prep my body for when I'll become pregnant in the future. You do you right?… but this "diet", or better said, this primal approach truly changed my life for good. No more cravings, fatigue, mood changes, brain fog, I feel stronger etc. I'm in control, I feel satisfied, I don't think about food all the time like I do when carbs, and I'm not losing weight fast or anything like everybody claims, so is not a "diet" to lose either tho. Highly recommend anyone to give a try if needed for any reason.

@@wombat.vision I started on June, got a wedding on August and ate pizza with friends and definitely did not help I felt everything again, my joints, my gut issues, my skin issues… I'm back again and today on my morning walk I did not feel fatigue, I told my partner : I felt lighter! Lucky you! You have wonderful genes for dairy! Milk in the USA is venom too. I grew up in Argentina, and my body craves red meat. I eat: pasture eggs, everything uncured without sodium nitrates like bacon salami etc., red meat and pork, and chicken must be organic. Raw milk occasionally, like right now, but usually I just use half-and-half in my coffee and do cheeses if I feel like it. There's a term "Ketovore" when you include avocados and some berries or honey in your regimen, but is a thing for the weekends for me, not a daily thing. How it has been for you so far?

Raw milk is almost nutritionally identical to conventional milk. The difference is so minute that it's irrelevant. This is, of course, assuming you aren't American, where most milk is UHT garbage.

I dont feel well on high protein diets, sick, nausea, etc. So i switched to fat & carbs and feel great. Webt from 250 to 208. Dont know when because i didnt keep track but no longer than a month. Thats when i had to go to the ER (don't ask it was stupid) & they weighed me. I knew i didnt lose weight. I am fat. Didnt go on this duet to lose weight. I just didnt want to be sick anymore. Wanted to keep my job. It was that bad. But this high carb & fat with a tiny amount of protein has heeled my gut, no longer sick & going to the bathroom with a garbage pail if you know what i mean...
