My mother got me a bracelet with those eyes on it when we were in Italy. If I'm correct, they ward off curses. So yeah, like you said, they're kind of like good luck. I don't know if this is Italian or European or superstitious in general, but she told me it's because jealously is be able to manifest into a sort of curse and cause bad fortune and illness; Even through small, subconscious glances and thoughts from people around you, or friends and family members who love you. When you wear the eyes, they're supposed to deflect those bad energies. So yeah! I guess they're supposed to work like that health recharge station in laser tag. Also, I'm pretty sure the eye thing works the same way of you wear black, since it's not a showy color and tends to detract unwanted attention from the wearer. ....hmm....So maybe that's why everyone wore black all the time. I dunno, just felt like throwing that out there because I hear about the mysterious good luck/protection eye from time to time. ^^

Oh, sorry-- I guess I went to several countries that all had the eye but there were several meanings of it? Some said lucky, others said protection, and my friend from Dubai also told me about the evil looks concept. But thanks!

Hi! I used mostly prismacolor micron pens and zebra mildliners to color. I also used a lot of gray copic markers for other ones. I probably should include my materials next time, but thank you!
