Even with all the ethical concerns and doubts surrounding AI, it's clear that its potential benefits are too great to ignore. I just hope we can figure out how to tackle its misuses soon.

It's exciting to see how AI is shaking up the art world some artists may worry, but many are finding fresh inspiration and new tools to work with!

Waow ! That looked fantastic ! Well done for organizing such a trip and be able to enjoy it as well. Well, you work in the animation industry, so you should know very well that weird withdrawal feeling when a movie or series project is finally done : after hundreds of days of hard labor, sudenly, there's nothing left to do and you're like "wait, that's it ?" I'm guessing finishing a week long workshop filled with creative minds must feel pretty similar. Great that you could pull it off !

This video has helped me alot when it comes to being given insights of what I wanna do for my own art career. Currently going to college to study IT cuz I couldn't attend any art schools that my parents could afford. I want to become a game dev aswell creating my own games and doing art combined with it aswell as part of me wanting to presue more of my passions. I got alot of ideas for what I wanna do and hopefully art will still be something I can presue at the same while not overworking myself too much. Though I feel like my parents don't really get the path I'm taking. I've tried discussing what I want with them already and they don't seem to get it. They think I'm going to work in some big company that I'm not able to work for, while I've tried explaining to them thats not the case and I wanna create my own work and create a future of my own which I can look back on and be HAPPY about! I'm not too sure what I'm gonna do, though my idea is probably going work some low income job to make enough money for basic things and presue art and game development on the side for some extra income. Just something that pays the rent assuming I move out or atleast make some contribution to my family so that they have more money to work with. I hope that I'll succeed and be able to do the passions I wanna do while making enough money to either get by, or atleast show I'm serious about what my future will be like. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks for reading aswell! :D

Witnessing AI’s impact on creativity has inspired me to get back to my roots in analog photography. I've been developing my own film and embracing the unpredictability of each shot. I encourage fellow artists to rediscover traditional practices and maintain their creative spirit!"

Great video, Michelle. I'm a traditional artist who has recently started integrating AI into my workflow. I'd like to share an unpopular opinion: AI art is still, at its core, human-generated. In your video, you often treat AI and human-created art as distinct, and that reflects how most artists and media see it. Traditional artists may use a paintbrush or a Wacom tablet, while AI artists use keyboards and adjust algorithms. This difference in tools often leads people to dismiss AI-generated work as not “true” art. But I believe art is defined by more than the medium. For example, no one would say that a musician playing the piano isn’t creating music simply because they aren’t using their voice. Similarly, many musicians use software to generate rhythms, beats, and melodies. Does this make them any less of a musician? We accept photography and cinematography as art, yet we don't give the same recognition to AI-generated works. We don't say the camera "creates" the photograph or the film. A human sets the ISO, aperture, shutter speed, and composition to produce the final result. The same is true for AI art. The artist uses AI tools, but it's still their creative input and choices that shape the outcome.
