@@bungrasnarf WAYLON was the best. I had the great opportunity to see him in 1995 when he returned to the SURF to play for the 1st time back there since the night of the Buddy Holly's plane crash. What an experience and great memorable event that concert was.

Love the song. Carter's interpretation of this great song with the added bonus of Barney and Carter's Chord"s harmony add so much . Their hearts and souls are in every note. Like Carter explains, with age the lyrics become more meaningful. Hope to hear more of Carter Robinson. Keep em coming.

A COUPLE MORE YEARS (Shel Silverstein - Dennis Locorriere) I've got a couple more years on you baby that's all I've had more chances to fly and more places to fall That's not that I'm wiser it's just that I've spent More time with my back to the wall. And I've picked up a couple more years on you baby that's all I've walked a couple more roads than you baby that's all And I'm tired of running while you're only learning to crawl And you're going somewhere but I've been to somewhere And found it was nowhere at all. And I've picked up a couple more years on you baby that's all. --- Instrumental --- Saying goodbye girl don't ever come easy at all But you've got to fly cause you're hearin' them young eagles call Someday when you're older you'll smile at a man strong and tall And say I've got a couple more years on you baby that's all.

Jestem od ciebie kilka lat starszy, kochanie, to wszystko Miałem więcej szans, by wzlecieć i więcej okazji, by spaść I wcale nie chodzi o to, że jestem cwany - po prostu dłużej byłem przyciśnięty do muru Zacząłem parę lat wcześniej, skarbie, to wszystko

HARD TIMES COME AGAIN NO MORE Stephen Foster Let us pause in life's pleasures and count its many tears, While we all sup sorrow with the poor; There's a song that will linger forever in my ears; Oh Hard times come again no more. Tis the song, the sigh of the weary, Hard Times, hard times, come again no more Many days you have lingered around my cabin door; Oh hard times come again no more. While we seek mirth and beauty and music light and gay, There are frail forms fainting at the door; Though their voices are silent, their pleading looks will say Oh hard times come again no more. Tis the song, the sigh of the weary, Hard Times, hard times, come again no more Many days you have lingered around my cabin door; Oh hard times come again no more. There's a pale weeping man who toils his life away, With a worn heart whose better days are o'er: Though his voice would be merry, 'tis sighing all the day, Oh hard times come again no more. Tis the song, the sigh of the weary, Hard Times, hard times, come again no more Many days you have lingered around my cabin door; Oh hard times come again no more. Tis a sigh that is wafted across the troubled wave, Tis a wail that is heard upon the shore Tis a dirge that is murmured around the lowly grave Oh hard times come again no more.
