You get tilt-back at a certain speed, you get haptic buzz at a certain duty-cycle.

I still havent done this on my GT .... I probably will but in the cold I dont ride as much and when I do its usually my lynx right now. I do miss my one wheel tho & may do it.

@@Duf yea I will probably just do it as here in the Northeast it is pretty cold (as you know from your time up here) around march I feel more able to handle the bumps as I got spoiled by New EUC's with suspension like the lyns & I just dont feel like riding in the cold over the frozen ground ( feels like concrete on the trails up here) I really am jealous of where u live from nov-march ... I cant stand the cold as I get older & almost 52 yrs old I am not going to be having any change of mind ever ;p ... I may make a move out west in a few yrs. I prefer no humidity & I love mountains other than that I love FLA & have relatives down there ( i think alot of people from up here have Family down in FLA... Anyway Best of luck & everything else in 2024 Duf , You seem like a genuine guy & I hope you find happiness in all aspects of life Brother!!!!

I have been avoiding the update on my XR mostly because of the bricking horror stories. But I am going to do it. I do want some kind of better safety mechanism than the push back.

EUC's have pretty good warnings, if you don't disable them

Id imagine 1 of 3 things mightve happened to the bricked boards: Telespammer called and kicked out the app The phone went to sleep from not touching it and killed the app Or simply they ran out of battery waiting 🤣 Either way, phone calls or my phone deciding to sleep always scare me when i have to do phone based firmware updates

Maybe they weren't required to have it plugged into the charger originally? Dont know, just glad my update was uneventful.

Hey Duf, I don't have to update my GTS it must have came that way from the factory. When I have it on Flo, the haptic buzz goes "kiss my grits"

Im suprised of your safety gear choicewhen testing that thing at max speeds immediately after an update. 20mph faceplant and knee grind on asphalt? I personally dont trust my EUC after an update.

@Duf You should take this opportunity of making bad choices to do something awesome. Buy something crazy like a Porsche or a 100hp jet ski. May lead to exciting opportunities?
