This was a great topic, discussion and a beginning to a roadmap to the future in my opinion. Thank you both. I see a world of opportunity if we can overcome the primary deterrents to progress in these nations that have been exploited for their resources and left to ruin. That would be greed and selfishness. That terrible flaw in humanity to want something for nothing or to offer pennies on the dollar for valuable things. Right now Musk is building a fortune for himself in space with his Starlink system, while here on earth few have really thought about the fortune to be made in the alternative energy sources. For example, with investment we can offer to a country refrigeration, lights, heating/cooling and all of the power necessary to bring a country into the twenty first century without adding to our climate issues. We can offer that country high quality education so the people of that country can earn a wage not based on a meager existence, but comparable to every western nation. Once that happens and along the way farmers will no longer have to fight with neighboring farmer in other countries for a piece the shrinking pie of the already established nations. If we truly want to end the despots and exploitation by aggressor countries we the "free world" must first clean up our own house and make honest deals with honest effort to remove all suppression from the nations that have traditionally been on the dirty end of the stick. There's enough to go around if we are willing to allow everyone a chance to be their best.
