This is the one airliner that I must have for MSFS. The 757 and the 727 are my two all time favorite airliners. The 757 with the RR engines sounds like such a beast when it is at takeoff power, and I love that sound more than anything.

Great work so far keep it up, absolutely NEED a good quality Boeing 757-200 in MSFS as one of my ultimate favourite aircraft. It was the first I flew on as a kid growing up for holidays (though with RB211s!) and it was the first aircraft I was trained to operate on as cabin crew too! Lots of great memories. I really love how this plane looks! I can't wait to buy it, and I know I'll love it. I am a casual simmer; I hope that somewhere in your development plans, far down the line, stuffed in a dingy corner office marked 'maybe', is avionics upgrades for the 757 VC. The only reason I say this is because I personally highly enjoy cockpit variety, and I have always struggled with choosing between flying 767 and 757's in sims because of their cockpit overlap. CaptainSim has recently released the 767 with the older 757-style cockpit. I'd absolutely love to have a 757 with a nonstandard cockpit for this reason.

pretty nice! however will this have a THR Hold mode to capture VNAV PTH eventually?? the whole descent was below path and the football transported to the bottom crossing NEDAN, also the waypoints you cross should be white, magenta means active waypoint, little constructive point of view, but beautiful airplane so far and cant wait to buy it!

Do you guys think you can do this, go schedule a trip to an airport and do a little plane spotting on and get some real recordings of the plane taking off and landing, and then if somehow you can get an inside video of how the plane sounds

We have recordings from inside the plane all the way from cold and dark to engines running both PW and RR, working on getting exterior sounds as well. The sounds will be integrated into the plane sometime in a few months.

Will the aircraft include the correct alarms that the 75' has in rea life? I've been majorly disappointed with many aircrafts on MSFS2020 due to their lack of realistic systems with alarms, for example terrain alarms, bank angle, etc.

There are many aspects to creating an airliner for MSFS ( Coding, textures, model, flight dynamics, sounds, effects , documentation etc ). The coding takes a lot of time and was built from scratch. Other parts of the model still need to be worked on as well to bring it up to our standards before release.

I'm not sure what experience you are basing this off of when you say we are making slow progress. We are making great progress. The coding of the FMS alone is A LOT of work. It was all done from scratch as I mentioned. All of the other aspects of the aircraft take a long time to ensure it's accurate.

@@BPPUK If you were listening in the video, I think he said that it wasn't shooting for "study level" but rather a complete "Normal Operations" simulation. To simulate an entire normal operations flight in the 757 relies upon a complete suite of FMS functionality. This, in and of itself, is a study level concept which goes against what was said in the video anyways. He's trying to avoid the contentious subject of study level to avoid the heated argument over what that really means and upsetting fans with varying level of expectations on what comes provided with a "study level" jet. Needless to say, flying a normal flight from A to B in any Boeing aircraft will require some studying as to what buttons must be pushed when and how the AFDS/Automation works. How long did it take PMDG to release their 73 for MSFS? How long did it take them to develop a working tablet/EFB for the 737 as well? You're also assuming that the information in these videos is also the most current development in the BBS757 production, which is false. You don't know how far along this thing is. You only know what's available in the video releases here. Doesn't he say in the video that they're reworking the ENTIRE cockpit with new textures and whatnot? We haven't seen that either but that doesn't mean progress isn't done. PMDG, in their updates, only ever releases small tidbit updates like "progress is coming along fine with the 777 we should have more for you later". Not trying to be rude, just trying to point out some hypocrisy and flaws with you're logic here.
