I agree with literally everything you said and had the same experiences. It sucks coming off of the suboxone but it did allow me to get my life back on track... when it was time and i no longer wanted to be on it and tapered down and made the jump.. you have to want it.. support and keeping busy is the most important thing. Addressing the problems that led you to using in the first place is just huge. Respect. So much respect my man. Keep it up

Your videos are helpful bro. Thank you for making them. I’m on day 15 after jumping from 1 mg. I feel basically alright. It depends on how I choose to perceive life. I decided to attack this head on. Never missed a day of work and stepped up my martial arts all during withdrawals. You hit the nail on the head when you said get up and moving if/when you feel like shit. That’s the key right there. Addicts like us lose perspective on reality and expect to feel “up” every day. That’s not the case. We feel tired. That’s just life. The hot baths were super helpful too. My water bill is screaming at me lmao. Congratulations man, super happy you are free from suboxone now and I can’t wait to be at the same mile marker.

We'll I relapsed for a day and overdosed on day 23 off Suboxone. I almost died since I had nothing in my system to protect me. I'm now over two months clean and doing great. That overdose... although I highly don't recommend it was closure that I'll die if I don't stay clean. Now I feel amazing and back to my training, and doing NA program to the fullest extent.

I did notice some pain in my joints once I quite. I probably just didn't notice before because of the Suboxone. It's just now starting to get better, but I workout hard and it's probably from that. I can sleep really good now, my brain is clear, mood and energy is so much better, and I can finally say I'm one hundred percent clean. Getting off the Suboxone was the best decision I ever made!!

I am starting a new nutrition food regimen soon and going from 12 to 10 mg currently finishing a 16 to 12 jump week one. Hey man. Thank you for your true walkthrough from ground up. Your videos prove to me, that this shit if tapered isnt NEARLY as bad as methadone from 50 mg and klonopin 3 a day 4 years through 4 days ...that's when I ran to sub doc. I had no idea about tapering. I thought they weened you off. But I was a pain patient. He finally believed me when I saw him month and half ago and my last script of 8mg expired. I made that 30 pill supply last 5 months almost. Anyway he dropped me to 2mg and I take 2 little pieces and usually have a 3rd of a pill left. Some days I try to take less but feel the anxiety. Anyway I suppose I'm at 1.2. I've thought about Kratom for just a week then deal with what comes after. Anyway thank you. Also do you think I'm too high of a dose yet?

I moved out of my apmt. I planned this a year. I moved Into my camper. My dog and I. I'm 48. I parked next to mom and dad to help them out as well. I was fired from work as I told them I was getting off med. I figured that would happen. Anyway. I have one pill left and 2 refills. 30 2 mil tablets subutex. I am happy they helped too but I'm a pacifier effect here. To me honest I am sick every time I take this shit even at a low dose. Its weird. I am so ready to get off. Any help is appreciated. Peace man. PS. I'm a drummer 30 years and started teaching myself guitar. I have a KZbin channel you can check it out here. I do relaxing shit mostly. Hahah. Be well brother. Peace. And God Bless brother. Thank you. PS if you believe I went through worse with methadone that's what I tell people it cant be that damn bad since I tapered to 1.2 mg. But i only take .5 or .6 at a time 2 times a day. Some days i take a dust particle. Haha. Peace man.

Wow, you're videos are really short and succinct - it's great! Just a question: I am on day 8 and I'm finding the sleep to be that hardest part. Does a small does of valium help to induce better sleeping? Especially on anxious nights I'm finding it's helping give me good sleep but perhaps this is not a good thing?
@mikes.7488
@mikes.7488 4 жыл бұрын
I really am not sure, I am sure it would help temporarily with the anxiety but just remember what goes up must come down, thats why i stayed away from benzos. I used melanin to help fall asleep, only problem was that it wouldn't keep me asleep. I went through most nights with very little sleep until it started coming back slowly. Before I knew it, I had 4-6 hours a night, from there it got better much faster.

Hi! This is the first I've seen your video so thank you for posting your story and encouragement. I'v been on suboxone after opiods from a surgery which led me down the wasted road for 10 years. I've tapered down to .25 or .125 and thought i could jump off n be fine but started having fever wd symptoms. I cant believe succh a small dose makes that much of a difference. I probably could jump now and just go through it like i need to but i work full time as n office mgr. Its been difficult sitting at my desk all day. I have 12 days off which includes the weekend in a month and have to be done. I don't want to spend the whole time being sick. Should i jump off a week prior??? I just want to be some way ok when i have to go back to work. I've been listening to music and watching movies when i feel bored. Anyway i know at this point its basically mental. My dr gave me adderall to help with energy but i don't want to get stick on that. If you have any suggestions on jumping off that would be awesome! Congrats on where you are at, i cant wait to be there too!!! As you said i feel like I've wasted 10 years I'm 45 and over it! Thanks again

@@Kam-h8g you should be doing what you said. Stay at that dose and skip days first. I've heard from numerous people that when they started doing that at the end that the withdrawals were minimal. Up to you. Just advice and the one guy I watch would stop and feel withdrawal. He then was on .25 or something like that. He would skip days and then after a little while doing that he just stopped and waited and said no withdrawal but that mentally he had really bad anxiety. Which sucks but anything to help

I actually disagree with Mike about this. I’ve jumped at different doses and didn’t notice many huge differences in the withdrawals. It’s a little prolonged at higher doses, but the taper extends things too bc you never feel amazing when you lower your dose unless you do it really slowly, but those are days you could be toward a clean life so that always played with my head too. I say do what you are most comfortable with, but def don’t be afraid to just jump. It’s not like heroin or pills withdrawal, it’s milder and more prolonged but comparatively tolerable

AbleAnderson so how did u get off or how do u think
@AbleAnderson
@AbleAnderson 6 жыл бұрын
Sherelle Coleman the last time I got clean for good (2yrs and counting) I jumped from 4mg. In the past I’ve jumped from 2 and 8. These experiences were all almost identical to me. I don’t think your experience at 16 would be drastically different, but by all means do what you’re comfortable with. I just jumped and didn’t take a single thing during the w/d’s, only ibuprofen like once at day 7 or something. I just wanted my body and brain to have to deal with absolutely everything on its own and force a change naturally. I wanted to get everything over with and not prolong a thing. No Imodium, obviously no replacement drugs like benzos, alcohol weed, or Kratom. I also forced myself to go to the gym and do SOMETHING, even though my energy sucked for probably 3-4 weeks. The gym helped my energy and mood so much. Listened to tons of music, went for drives occasionally, got out of the house as often as possible, cleaned the house a lot bc for whatever reason it helped. This is the kind of stuff that worked for me. Pretty soon I wasn’t counting days anymore and I realized I felt pretty damn good. Happened much sooner than expected actually. This may or may not be right for you and that’s ok. Maybe you will taper, maybe you will take an Imodium here and there. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with this stuff. This is just what I did. Any more questions or comments I’d love to hear them!
