I used to have dreads for a while but combed them out last year because I was craving a change but been making them again this Easter weekend. Your videos are keeping me motivated through the endless backcombing and crocheting. Your dreads are beautiful and they really suit you well

Get a satin bonnet to wear at night. I recommend a white one. The ones with colors tend to bleed. But the bonnet will help contain your dreads when you sleep and will help keep the frizz down because your dreads won’t be rubbing against the pillowcase.

Yesss! Another lovely and insightful video. I adore all of your tips and honesty. I have had mine for over 4 years and your info im sure has helped many. The sleeping tip really spoke to me hah, I too feel that way! Also, I have over 30+ dreadlocks videos on my channel I have made to help others along the way. I recommend oil treatments (tea tree, lavendar, rosemary etc) definitely help with hair growth, nutrients and scalp issues. 😘🤘💋

My name is Hayley and I have had my dreads for 1 year as well! Your dreads are gorgeous. My dreads have shrunk almost the exact same amount as yours. My dreads started at my hips as well. I lived the length but like you said it was a lot to deal with lol Oh man I feel the struggle with sleeping. Small sacrifice to pay for awesome hair.Good luck on the rest of your journey love! ✌

I wish you had been around when I got my first set of dreadlocks! There truly wasn't much by the way of videos about Caucasian women with dreads, which made it hard to learn what to do and what not to do! I kept mine in for a year and then took them out and HATED it. So just about a week ago I had them put back in and I'm so happy I did! Mine are also real dreads with human hair extensions. Thank you so much for posting your videos, they are truly helpful!

I have dreads myself and wonder if you use any oils or what you use to keep them even slightly soft? I’ve had mine for 2 years and can’t seems to find a good way to keep them soft!
@dreadalinaa4 жыл бұрын
Hey :) The only products I use after washing them is aloe manukea gel from raw roots or dolly locks tightening gel... sometimes mine are soft but sometimes there scratchy so I'm not really sure haha sorry not much help!
