@@m.g.325 for all of my symbols I use Avery DIY dark fabric transfer. You can find it on amazon or ebay. Use my templates as a size guide and you can download the images from Google.

Small magnets or milliput work well for me whenever I have to use marvel legends boots with that body. Also anyone going a Mezco style bane(and prefer the taller/bigger bane in proportion to Batman) the older ko shf mcu hulk makes for an excellent base body. The build is great and after you lubricate it(which should be done with all of these base body's) it moves great like a storm figure. The plastic also holds paint extremely well. its only way to get something on par with vtoys,etc quality for 20 bucks shipped. I never shared that because I didn't want anyone else doing that custom/sharing that recipe with everyone because I get quite a few commissions for customs of that character but that's kind of shitty when all these people are cool enough to share as much as they do, like this channel. The Superman suit templates are great.

Small magnets do work wonders. I need to get into doing customs with magnets. I have not used milliput yet but I will definitely try it out. That is a great idea with the KO hulk body, thank you so much for sharing. Also, I am glad you enjoyed the Superman suit templates :)

I know it's too late but if you're like me who is curious about the vtoys and the mezco red skull boots, you actually just need to heat the boots and pegs and they will fit perfectly as the pegs are of the same size and height. although tucking in some pants inside the boots might be difficult as the calf of the vtoys is thicker than that of a mezco, it's the same situation with the mezco netflix punisher boots though since the boots are shorter his height and proportion will look off as punisher's boots are designed for a lower calf cut, I think they fit well for the NWToys, I saw someone on tiktok kitbashed his mezco netflix punisher by using an NWToys figure for a greater articulation.

I have used the lower legs from the knees onwards to fit to the VToys buck. Heat up the joints and gently pull out the legs from Mezko and use them on the Vtoys. The knee joint fits.

I've been eyeing a Red Skull Mezco body on eBay just for the boots. I need the boots for a Phantom custom I am going to be working on, but its $100, so I might just get a MezKO Punisher and use his military boots. Would prefer the Red Skull boots though as they are more like the Phantoms boots. Anyway, great, informative video. I subbed.

Thank you so much for the Sub. I would recommend checking out actionfigurecustoms on ebay. He puts up Red Skull boots on his store when he does new casts. Although you have to make sure you pick it up straight away as boots sell out almost instantly.

I’ve been trying to do a Sam and Dean Winchester custom set and it’s been a nightmare finding the bodies bc vtoys is too big, the mixmax is ok for the taller bro Sam...that leaves Dean a shorter but not too large choice. If you could help at all I would really appreciate it.

Well I think if you want something a bit smaller than the MixMax buff you can go with a KO Mezco body which is a bit smaller but similar proportions. You can also try a slim marvel legends body

I think the GWToys body or the MixMax body foo would work great for homelander. Slightly smaller than vtoys but still bulky

Hello, great video and very helpful. I was wondering how the KO Mezco suits are? I need or want to use my extra heads, hands and accessories from my Mezco and Mafex figures (especially Joker). I am also thinking of creating a custom Wolverine Jim Lee X-Men Team figure using the KO X-Men Deadpool soft goods suit for a Wolverine Jim Lee Team suit and Marvel Legends Wolverine Wave 6 (Tri Sentinel) body. I don't know how I will get the yellow chest yet, but this may work to start with. Thanks again! very helpful. John

Some of the KO suits are amazing and some are not well designed. Superman BVS is amazing. Deadpool is also pretty well designed. I recommend going to the aliexpress listing and checking the user photos provided in the reviews section. Joker is pretty good too the suit is built well.

@@AzrachToys thanks The Gotham by Gaslight has enough accessories for Two displays - one cutting up a body with saws and another with the coat and top hat. I actually thought about buying a nazi ww2 uniform for the extra Mafex head for something really different. LOL Also, I will probably by a Deadpool KO X-men for the suit! thanks for replying very cool

What head sculpt fit with vtoys body? Example ML head , storm head??

None of them fit perfectly for me. The ML and Mezco neck ball pegs are too big and do not attach well to VToys. The DC Multiverse figure heads may fit better but I have not tried that.

What neck will connect to the torso of this body? There are plenty of necks which fit mezco and marvel legends heads, but we have to know which necks can attach to this body

The neck pegs are very distinctve so you will need to use some blue tack to get things to peg on.

What fits on the full-leg ball joint for the VToys Zero, as in, if you aren't using the leg meant for boots and just pop off the foot, what fits on that ball joint, OR, what is the circumference of the foot ball/peg?

I have not tried out any shoes on the foot but the body does come with some shoes that fit.

Vtoys zero is the closest in terms of articulation style. Mix max is closer regarding to the size. But u do not think any blank bodies are close to mafex.

The best I can think of is KO joker or MixMax slim. You could also try the Marvel Legends slim body. A good example is the newish X-men Xavier black body figure.

With enough heat, this figure is really easy to disassemble. You should have a minimum risk of breakage. Just remember to heat it enough.

Some do but you'd have to experiment with the scaling. The pegs are completely different so I would not expect them to be plug and play.

The plastic on the MixMax slim is very tough and durable but the body has a bit of a shine to it.. If you are covering it up with fabrics it is not a big problem I guess.

This scales very well with Ascending Knight Batman. However, if you swap the legs for boots he may be taller than other Mezco's because the thighs are way too long.

I have a question regarding the slim body. Is it at all possible to purchase different hands? I’m new to the custom figure business and am unsure (if at all possible) how to obtain for example, fisted or trigger finger hands for that particular body. I did order mine from their official website where they sell head sculpts and such but was unable to find anything related to hands for their base body. Or maybe anyone here knows of a website that sells hands compatible with the base body? My apologies for the long post, as compensation, here’s a potato 🥔 Edit: I do believe I have the mixmax slim body and I ordered mine on the Vctoys website.

The MixMax slim body only comes with 1 set of hands. I usually get other hands (fists, pointing, gun holding) from other figures I have eg. Mezco, MezKO, Vtoys, third party. Jason could be build on a body foo body from mixmax or the zero from vtoys. It will depend on how tall you want the figure. For mezco size I would recommend mixmax body foo

Great video as always! Quick question, do you know if I can buy wrist/anckle ball articulations for mezco figures somewhere? I do customs myself (you can check my channel :D) and sometimes I need to replace boots to use mines but I don't like breaking the original parts and would rather source the ball articulations than breaking mezco boots. I have seen 1/6 ball joints like everywhere, but can't find them in 1/12.

For ankle ball joints, I would recommend buying some of action figure customs boots on ebay www.ebay.com.au/str/actionfigurecustoms. All his boots come with 2 additional ball joints. The other option is to but MixMax bodies that come with wrist pegs and ankle pegs (similar to McFarlane DC toys) but they will add a bit of height to the figure.

I typically think of Magneto being a bit bulky and muscular (Jim Lee Magneto) so I would go for a MixMax strong type body. Vtoys would be a bit too big compared to the other figures in the Mezco line.

I think actionfigurecustoms on ebay is selling necks that have the base of vtoys and the top is from Mezco. The neck can be removed easily so replacing it should not be a problem.
