A person can only change who they are for Allah (swt). Once a person does that then all will fall into place including marriage.

People need to work on themselves first and not expect the other to “complete” them. Love is fantastic but use your head and assess whether your partner is the person with the qualities, spirituality , goals, habits and understanding, etc. that you honestly want as they are ✨now ✨very few people take on the challenge to grow themselves.

People understood wrong. He didn't mean to say ppl won't change, he meant to say don't think you can change someone. A person can only change himself if he wants, not because you married him and trying to change him. You cannot change anyone, so don't marry someone by thinking Im going to change this man/ woman.

People don't change, they are who they are, the only difference is how much of the good behaviour they are willing to share with their loved ones and not let them get hurt by their negative emotions and responses ......that is all We are all unique entities like colour pallete, with unique combinations of qualities, every individual has a different shade, no one shade is the same ......let everyone be, and enourage the good they have

This is not true. Haven't you seen how reverts changed so much? I am a revert my self and Islam has changed me and I have seen it in many people. I realise that thinking that people can not change is actually a satanic thought...that's exactly what Shaytan wants you to believe so you give up on people, give up on your self and ultimately so you give up on Allah.

You rather should title this video something like '' advice for the youth before getting married''. But maybe it is a trick to attract male listeners to hear advice while they thought they were going to listen to some conforter... 😏 If this is the intention, that' s smart 😎

The opposite can happen, people can change for the worst once married and make your life a living hell and you didnt see who they are and they hid it very well. And you thought you were marrying the good side of that person, who actually has beyond a bad side but evil side and not really following Allah. How do you deal with that kinda marriage, even if a test from Allah??

Marriage has NOTHING to do with love. Its for reproduction and for legal sex...especially arranged marriage...so don't try to glorify something which is based on ulterior motives. Love can be between a man and a woman not related. If you haven't experienced it, it doesn't mean it isn't there.
@awaishssn
@awaishssn 4 жыл бұрын
There are many kinds of love. Love between a parent and a child, or love between siblings, and many more. The kind of love talked about in the video is of the love between man and woman who found each other comforting and thus come together in life to cherish and support each other through the trials of this life. And Islamic belief suggests the best way to nourish this kind of love without seeking despair in both your lives is to officially announce your love through marriage under the council of both your families. Marriage is about patience and controlling the ego. And sure, many marriages don't turn out well, but every couple has their issues. But if in the end the two are not even announcing to the world of your love with an official declaration called marriage, then is the love between them even official according to themselves even? Most of the prophets also had a 'love marriage' by technical definition, so there's hardly any wrong in it given that one must act with wisdom and conduct things in accordance so as to see you don't end up bringing more harm to your life than the tranquility you seek.

@@awaishssn Nope marriage and love are two entirely different things. You can love an already married person and he/ she can love you back. The official ceremony is when both parties met at the right time..usually arranged marriages have right timing for declaration of a contract of mutual interest...there is no lovein it...woman gives legal sex and kids and man looks after maintenance. For love is free from officialdom and perfuntories of the sort. Marriage has nothing to do with love. Love is an emotion that one experiences on ones own. The other party may not be available to marry but love is there. Thats why Islam allows four wives...because sex needs of a man exceed those of the woman.
@awaishssn
@awaishssn 4 жыл бұрын
@@malihaazure145 Ah, I am confused where you get the idea that marriage = love, because I never mentioned so. And if you want to describe what love is, you can infact reduce it to the dopamine and serotonin releases in the brain, but in my opinion that is just stupid because the beings as we are, us humans are more than just the chemical compositions resulting from the reactions occurring in and around us. This argument is useless if you are coming with the philosophy that the soul does not exist and we are mere material beings. And the four wives argument? Really? I humbly apologize if I appear rude but it feels like I'm conversing with a materialistic teenager who fails to see the spiritual side of reality. Four wives simply do not come for free without any responsibilities, and the challenges to work in harmony with them all are over bearing. (compare this to the modern western standard of having multiple girlfriends who you sleep around with no responsibilities attached; the west where many kids are born and grow up not knowing who their father is). Also, scientifically speaking, the womenkind have higher sexual 'needs' than a man. But in the end women are also highly attuned to their emotions and thus also better at conducting their sexual desires. It seems you are confusing the socio-cultural impacts of marriage with the religious understanding of the concept. You are naive if you think sexual intimacy is only limited to physicality and is nothing more than mere materialistic reproduction. It actually consists of many more factors than just getting your hormones and other chemicals up and down. Emotional and psychological investments are essential if one wishes to maintain a healthy sexual relationship that does not end with either of the two getting severely hurt. You cannot call it love without having a deeper understanding of that person. There are many kinds of love. A man can have a mother, a sister, a wife, and a daughter and all those different relationships foster different kinds of love. And the love with his wife (or lets say girlfriend) is the one where his sexual desires rest. So Love /= Marriage /= Sex (not equal). Yes they are entirely different things. But talking about young love between two different individuals who find each other satisfying emotionally as well as psychologically and physically, then for the sake of their own happiness it is advised that their love results in marriage which can then result in a harmonious sexual relationship. These should go hand in hand if you wish to lead a peaceful and happy life. This is the wisdom of the islamic belief at its very simplest and there are many more things to learn and understand but this is the simplest way one can begin to grasp it I think. In the end - Love is a great responsibility of the higher sort and not a frivolous emotion to be played around with, lest it result in emotional devastation of yourself and the people around you. These are just the advice of the people who have lived long and seen and experienced and gone through the material, emotional and spiritual trials of this life. Please, if you think it is wise enough to engage in love with a man/woman who is already married then proceed at your own peril. May Allah grant us all the patience and the willpower to endure and understand the harshness of reality that we live in so that we may strive to come above it and deserve to be rewarded with His blessings.
@malihaazure145
@malihaazure145 4 жыл бұрын
@@awaishssn We are not a result of chemical actions. You are a Muslim yet quoting theorisations of the atheists to keep people away from Allah. Love is a feeling which is as abstract as a soul..since scientists can't explain it they resort to confusing the masses with absurdities of colloquealism, terminologies of inbound bodily processes, blaming function of chemical receptors and other farcical nonsense. Please come out of the jargon age and look around u...Allah says he loves u ...does He experience these processes na'aoozobillah! The lecture was glorifying marital relation as love between husband and wife, to be the only kind that exists rest is lust. Let me tell u...lust is for man. Woman doesn't experience lust unless possessed by demonic forces due to incessant exposure to porn. Who talked about engaging in love with a married man...Allah says in Quran (4:3) "And if you fear that you will not deal justly with the orphan girls, then marry those that please you of [other] women, two or three or four. But if you fear that you will not be just, then [marry only] one or those your right hand possesses. That is more suitable that you may not incline [to injustice]." Obviously in West, men keep girlfriends, they discourage marriage. Man is by nature polygamous. Marriage has only one purpose...legal sex maintenane and offsprings...Allah allowed divorce for underfulfillment of/due to either. Arranged marriage can NOT convert into love ..because it was founded on mutual, symbiotic arrangement. Love is a superior emotion. Please don't tie the knot (pun intended) of philosophy with God given sentiment. Love is a divine test, marriage is for carnal pleasure.
