Hi, OneBagTravels - Chris here, Founder and Head of Design at humangear. I really appreciate you taking the time to compare our GoPouch to the main competitor. I think you present a fair and well-balanced review of these products. We worked really hard on making GoPouch an easier and better experience compared to zip-seal style pouches and I think you hit on most of the key differences. One subtle benefit or our sealing rail is that it is both much faster and more *certain* to seal. I think most people have experienced the PITA of having to work your way down a zip-style seal to seal it (and sometimes they are just hard to get the grooves lined up) but our rail goes on and off in a second. It's also very hard to know with a zip-seal if you've *really* sealed it all the way along the opening (there can sometimes be a section or an end not fully sealed) whereas with the GoPouch once the slider is on, you know it's sealed. Lastly, everything we make comes with a no-BS lifetime warranty. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts we hope our GoPouches serve you well for many miles and adventures. Safe travels!

Great point I didn't mention in the video, the slider is very easy to use, thanks for the feedback!

Another good review. I've bought a number of silicone products - collapsible plates and tupperware, a collapsible coffee cup and water bottle but I always find they're surprisingly heavy for their size so tend to opt for alternatives.

They are heavy, generally I don't use them but I think reusable food bags are the exception for me.

I use the Stasher for my toiletry bag. It doubles as a hot water bottle for an achy back. I just put a wet, heated towel inside. You are right though, gotta watch that seal!

Good ideas, I'd be afraid of hot water leaking everywhere 😫

I feel like the stasher stand up mini would have been a more apt comparison with the humangear.

Probably. I'm thinking of getting a few more styles to compare them.

@ I use all my stand ups the most, and I have all of them including all the new “bowls”

I spent too much money trying to find a silicone food pouch for travel. Now I don’t carry liquids and snacks generally come in lighter smaller packaging.

What do you use these for, just snacks and nuts? Unless you're buying bulk/loose snacks, I can't see how bringing an extra bit like these brings much more value than just using the original bags which is much more likely in my opinion.

Snacks and sandwiches, like I'll make a sandwich for the airplane, also my last trip I filled it with peanut butter pretzels and snacked on them for the week. Kind of depends on what you're doing for how useful it will be, I don't always bring them.

I always have an empty one in my bag to take away leftover food if I go to a restaurant for lunch.
