Hey Dave .. FYI .. The owner of The Brooklyn Square ( Peter Pizza) use to work in Ciccio's . Peter then opened his own place in B'klyn which he named " Peter Pizza" on Stillwell Ave. When you went to The Brooklyn Square , the round pizza had sesame seeds on it. You raved about The Bklyn Squares Sicilian. Well Ciccio serves the same square with exactly the same taste. Yes, tastier than L& B Spumoni Gardens.

I grew up across the street from ciccios and picked up a pie for my family every week. Everyone in the restaurant is very nice and there used to be a large group of old italian guys including the sunbather who would heckle passing women on the street and play cards. It was always very funny

i have an 8mm movie reel of Sofia lauren getting oof the plane after landing in america for the first time,my dad was a mechanic and always took his camera to work as he could check out the passenger manifest from the airlines.I offered to send it to her 10 years or so and got a signed picture instead,probaly her agent etc.but cool history and a box of movies from 50s,60s,early 70s like hydroplane races on lake washington and baby stuff.
