If you can neutralize Superlek’s kicking game and close the distance you have a chance imo. That’s easier said than done. I respect Thai fighters that do Muay Thai then try kickboxing. It’s like handicapping yourself though. No clinching or elbows which is detrimental to their style. It’s hard to unlearn that aspect

I do understand this however, whatever be the reason, we can't ignore the fact that this is Kickboxing, and it should be done with kickboxing rules. The amount of times Superlake clinched and kneed and not getting reprimanded was savage. But in sports there is always the local supremacy.

Are you joking dude? Ffs, get sober. Superlek was taking as much damage as Puertas. Apart from round 3, Superlek didn't win a CLEAR round. It was a tie at least. As much as i like OneFC as a promotion, as much i hate it for favouring home fighters, even when they are losing. And that's not only my words. We're a bunch from different countries, but still came to same conclusion, not only about this fight, but in general. Unanimous decision? Apart from rocking Puertas in round3 (which Superlek wasn't able capitalize btw), he's been taking more damage and cleaner shots. It's really disgusting people can't accept, that foreigner can be as good as them in a fight game. That is called a racism.

How do you see that it's unfair? Superlek both kneeed and kicked. In rounds 2 or 3, he almost got knocked out. In the remaining rounds, he relaxed easily. There was a time when the referee ordered a stoppage, but he still punched Superlek. Is that right? (Personally, I think the referees on the stage are not skilled.)

@@isabellefajardo4212 Throughout the fight, the referee calls him out for holding on to Daniel, this is kick boxing and it is not allowed (in Muay Thai yes) the referee warned him more than 30 times not to grab and not to clinch.

Great fight, both guys were able to show their toughness and offensive weapons. Superlek's kicks were too vicious and his third round flurry did a lot of damage. It likely got him the victory. One thing is clear, kickboxing is very limited and restrictive. Kickboxers fear elbows and probably don't have the grappling strength to counter clinching. Only the strongest stand up strikers can do Muay Thai and be successful.

@@aresaht5825 Superlek should fight in Muay Thai where he is good, in kick boxing it makes the fight boring and tiring seeing how the referee tells him not to grab and he does it for 4 rounds without stopping, every time a blow landed he would hold on and break the rhythm of the fight

Puertas was a human punching bag. Yes he came forward with pressure but barely any offense. He can take hits. But cant dish it. More like pressuring to induce a clinch.

Before Supharerk was given a yellow card ,the referee had stopped the fighting.. But he was hit again. Both fighters stopped, it seems to me that a referee would give a yellow card to that boxer,but Supharerk had got a yellow card instead..
