OK, I thought when you unloaded your old blower and said you wanted this ride-a-long that you were just being a spoiled brat wanting a new toy (I know I would). Maybe that's a part of it but in all honesty you were spot on with your expectations of this ride-a-long. That thing rocks and when you have as much area as you have it's really an essential piece of equipment if you want to get the job done in a reasonable amount of time. Good purchase, Doug!

Good Afternoon Doug, that was an excellent boots on the ground demonstration episode, of course you added a little Dougification Factor in with the modification, well done. Now that will answer the question of “ How Many Leaves Could Doug Blow, If Doug Could Blow Leaves”, your Property is Beautiful and I can definitely see the savings in the labour and the final WOW Factor. I would venture to guess it would blow an applicable amount of snow off the driveway in the winter also. 😀👍👍👍

That thing is a beast. For a rail trail I’d rather have something between the standard nozzle and the straight ahead one. Since you have to go up and back I’d rather go down one side and be able to blow the leaves further off to the side of the trail and into the woods. Then do the other side on the way back. Either way that looks like a ton of fun.

The 26hp engine will blow the same amount of leaves as the 40hp engine. They crank rotates at the same rpm creating the same air flow. There's no extra load on the blower to need extra power. Remove the suspension and add a couple of weights.

Nice informative video on the Blitz.. I have the buffalo 3 point blower for leaves and it works great. I can see the advantages of the Blitz with changing the angles slightly when blowing which is difficult to do with the tractor rear mount. I bet it can get the job done in close to half the time. I have a question though, how much more effective is the actual leaf blowing volume with the 40 hp versus the tractor mount you had.? It appears from your video they are somewhat similar in how much volume and distance it blows the leaves?

Once you outgrow that machine, you can get yourself one of those jet engine blowers they use to dry NASCAR tracks after a rain. 😅 I am wondering if a nozzle that has air inlets around the perimeter would increase the volume of air blowing out by drawing additional air in with a Venturi.
