You guys are wonderful. I am so glad to see my Lord's people after the flesh returning to our Lord Jesus Christ and having such great foundational knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. My heart is always so glad when I see a Jew return to their Messiah who is also our Messiah and the Savior of the whole world. My heart burns for that day when Jesus Christ will reveal Himself to His brethren the Jews. I had a micro feel of it in my dream. It will be a mixture of broken heart repentance, self-condemnation, and guilt being convicted in fact that they had betrayed, mocked, and rejected the King of the Jews indeed as Pilate wrote on His tag on His Cross for us all. And then a breaking for of great tears of joy of salvation when our Lord Jesus Christ like Joseph of old forgives and comforts them and makes them all understand that God did it to preserve the life of Israel as a nation and people of God and that of all the nations of the world. I found it interesting that Zech. 12:12 mentioned the House of David AND the House of Nathan because Nathan is the line from David that Mary came through. Thank you for this teaching. Whom they pierced to me isn't just the Roman soldier. It was the Jewish leaders and Israel who wanted Jesus crucified. He was pierced by a spear and the nails in his hands and feet. While all of Israel didn't literally pierce Jesus, their open rejection and condemnation to death stained their hand as if they did it. You could even argue that it wasn't just a physical piercing, but an emotional one as well as Jesus being rejected. But of course when Jesus returns they will see him as also physically pierced. To a great extent that is true but it was the Hebrews who were the followers of Christ and wrote the scriptures. My own paternal forefather six generations from my father will be brought back in judgment and put away again. A Saint from heaven whom I believe was the Lady blessed to take care of Yehoshua the Only Begotten Son of God on two occasions both at the beginning of the First Century C.E. and in this time-period after that Son was caught up to Heaven when the Prophesy written in Revelation 12:5 was fulfilled is who I expect that Lady to have been.. My paternal forefather I was told received all glory to himself when on earth. He was a great man according to a memorial dedicated to him that has been placed in St Peters' Church Wolverhampton. The glory given to 'great men' by men has no bearing on the Judgments from Divinity for their great wisdom and wealth does not come from Yahuveh my Elohim. My paternal family I learned from Yahuveh was a descendant of Aaron. Yahuveh told me that and it is He who has taught me to understand scripture.

THERE IS ONLY ONE MEDIATOR 1 Timothy 2:5 says, There is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity-the man Christ Jesus. In Matt 23:36, Jesus tells us that Zechariah, the son of Berechiah (the prophet Zechariah no less) was slain between the temple and the altar, and his blood will be required of this unbelieving generation. For Jesus to highlight Zechariah to the Pharisees and Sadducees is significant, in my opinion. That prophet's book is one of the most referenced books of the bible in the New Testament. The olive trees, the seven lamps, the stone with 7 eyes, the king riding upon the foal of an ass, smite the shepherd, the piercing, and so much more is not coincidence, nor is it conjecture, or rearrangement by mistranslation. I am glad that Israel is awakening. This is the LORD's doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes. You two brothers are doing a good work, but God is leading and instructing you, as the scribes instructed into the kingdom of God. Bring out the new and the old, let them weep and howl, the Lord is coming with salvation in his wings.

2:06 Clearly the Gospels through John of John & Revelation point to a final fulfillment one the eve of Judgment. Therefore nabi Zechariah can only mean a partial fulfillment in terms of Yeshua's return on the eve of Armageddon. One must acknowledge the strong relationship in prophecy between ben David and ben Joseph, this was made plain through Micah in the locations, Bethlehem-Ephratah. 8:07 The word, tsemach, is not = branch (nor is a fowl a foal), sprout is not ideal either but better than, branch. That was a very silly English translation. This is explained in the Prophets and confirmed in The-Qur'an. 14:25 Ben Joseph, in scripture, comes through the Philadelphian assembly. Although it is clear that he represents Ephraim through the 144k this does not restrict his lineage solely to Joseph, from the lines of the kings his pedigree will also be through Nathan and Solomon, this is readily verifiable through the established royal European genealogies. It is vital to note that belief in ben Joseph and ben David is not mutually exclusive and should be obvious from the established relationships in many Christian commentaries. 21:05 The story of Joseph is full of rejection and suffering and even imprisonment, at the end of Yeshua's ministry he was rejected but never imprisoned. Ben Joseph is clearly rejected in Isaiah 66, but he savages Rome in Obadiah. That implies the destruction of the heretical triune gods and a return to the original faith of the fathers from Abraham's family, and Noah's family. 32:37 The original writings in the Greek Bible actually support ben Joseph more strongly, and so do some of the translations. Suggesting that ben David is more strongly supported is not true and thus the rabbis do have a valid argument if they object to biased translations. It would have been better if you had examined this thoroughly. You have not examined all the relevant Jewish literature either, it is far more extensive than what you represent here. This comes across as the typical they're wrong, we're right, but the God of Yeshua will judge between you all. Do not treat ben David's mission as a merchant business.

Brothers & Sisters, please pray for me. I was praying and was talking to Jesus about 4 months ago, I said " I want to know you were the prophesied messiah. I also want to experience you in an undenable way so that when I witness its an undeniable testimony and those who see me know I have known and seen you ." And then I woke up one morning and began to doubt and question everything about Jesus fulfilling prophecy. I really want prayer for understanding to increase in Jesus being the Messiah. I am walking on shear trust and the testimony of who He has been to me the last 10 years. I deeply miss trusting God with my whole heart and walking so close to Him. I miss Him. Please pray for my understanding to be enriched through the Word of God and through The Spirit of Truth. Also for my heart to recieve Christ through faith. This is the most challenging year of my life and its only because everything I've built my life on is in question. Its hard. I never expected this. Hi Stephen! I have been thinking of that song 'Onward Christian Soldiers, marching as to war' and I have been thinking about the crusaders going into Israel to war. Wondering if they carried the cross of 'Jesus'. But who is Jesus? Yahveh told me by a chosen messenger that was not a divine name. The Son of Yahveh is called Yehoshua (Joshua in English) meaning 'Yahveh Saves'. I understand Jesus to be the Greek god Zeus. That name is translated from Ie-sous therefore the Greek god. I also think of how the Catholic religion have their Knights of Columba and sisters of Mary. Protestantism have the Freemason Brotherhood and Eastern Star division for women. These do not represent truth of scripture although they use their bibles for a nefarious teaching as far as I am aware. Do you have any thoughts on how people can come to see through the deceptions?

However regards scholarship what does scripture say about that?? 1 Corinthians 1:20 onwards 'for the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For by the wisdom of the world the world did not get to know God. verse 25 for God chose the foolish things of the earth that he might put the wise to shame. I find that to be true. Academia is worthless if the holder of is not guided by the Sprit of Truth coming down from El Shaddai The Most High God. I only know for sure what has been given to me to know and to relate. And I guess it would be futile to point out that Yehoshua is merely an alternate rendering of Joshua in the Hebrew. What can I say? I guess I have to throw all of that out, leave my church (where the name "Jesus" is used) and submit myself to this new teaching which you have received from on high. Listen, all sarcasm aside, you did NOT receive that from God. You may have convinced yourself you did, but you did not. Maybe you enjoy fancying yourself a prophet, but you are deceiving yourself. Ok so it’s 5am here in Australia and I’m avidly listening to 2 Jews defend Yeshua the Messiah. The tables are turning as there has been a groundswell of ‘deconstructed Christians’ denying Yeshua as God the Son. There are 613 laws/instructions, but Yeshua satisfied the law of sin and death when He paid the death penalty with His blood. @@dulls8475 The answer is yes, you do have to obey the Torah. But only the ones that apply to you. For example, you no longer have to sacrifice the blood of animals for your sins. As Yeshua fulfilled this at the cross. And there are ordinances that only apply separately to priests, men and women, instructions of what to do. Then there are laws telling you what not to do. Like do not covet what isn’t yours, do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not commit bestiality, most would agree these actions are destructive and repulsive. Then there are laws that deal with sickness leprosy (mould) on your skin, dealing with mould in your clothes and mould in your house. The Torah goes right down to the microbial level. Linking leprosy to the stinking condition of your heart, ie gossiping and speaking evil of others. There are consequences when you transgress the Torah that’s why sin is transgression of the Torah/law. Too many churches preaching God’s grace yet not even touching Torah. Let alone equipping their people for the fight to come. You got to be like Teflon, make sure no sin sticks to you holding you down, so the enemy can’t keep accusing you to God.

I recently listened to Rabbi Skobac (from Jews for Judaism) for his take on this, before determining who presents the more compelling argument. I think it's important to listen to both sides--(for Yeshua/opposed to Yeshua)--and open ourselves up to as much of the information as possible, following up with additional study, before claiming certainty (relating to the truest interpretation of the text.) I love both of you men so much. You are so brilliant, and the way that you feed off of each other is just a beautiful thing to watch and hear. It is definitely not at all because they don't understand what is being said in Zechariah 12, they just don't want to admit that they have been wrong for two millennia already, and want to continue to lie to themselves, perhaps thinking that if they don't see it for what it means, then they will be held innocent for rejecting their Messiah, Yeshua. The text is so unambiguous that a 12 year old can get it. I just listened to this again and I heard you say that John was interpreting the text of Zechariah, and it occurred to me that he easily interpreted it because he spent time with Yeshua Messiah. The Bible authenticates itself in so many ways throughout the various books that it is indisputable.

Dear Dr. Postell and Dr. Broshi: What a wonderful study of the Pierced One of Zechariah 12. This is one of the best descriptions and revelations as to who is: the Branch, Sprout, Pierced One, Messiah, the LORD, Me, Him, He, Son of David, King, Shepherd, My God and many more! This is none-the-less than Yeshua who was GOD manifested in the flesh. GOD robed himself in flesh and came to this world and paid the price as described in Isaiah 53. GOD did not send someone else nor send another...but He, Himself robed himself in an earthly Tabernacle and came to earth as a Man and dwelt among his brethren. When he returns to earth again, he will go back to where he left from...and His feet will stand on the mount of Olives. "And the LORD shall be king over all the earth in that day shall there be one LORD and his name one. (Zechariah 14:9)". In that day he will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. And they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him...and there shall be a great mourning in Jerusalem...they shall ask were he received the wounds in his hands...and he will answer in the house of my friends!" They will MOURN over Him when they see the nail prints and His pierced SIDE and realize it was JESUS Who was their Messiah Whom they had rejected and crucified! Joseph Rabbinowitz was a famous Jewish convert who came to faith in Jesus as His Messiah and Savior. Mr. Rabbinowitz says the Jews have kept up great questionings and controversies about the meaning of Zechariah 12:10. ‘They shall look upon me whom they have pierced.’ They will not admit that it is Jehovah whom they have pierced, hence the dispute as to who is meant. Mr. Rabbinowitz points out that the word used consists of the FIRST and LAST letters of the Hebrew alphabet, Aleph Tay [a variant pronunciation of “Tav” or “Tau”] and adds: ‘Do you wonder, then, that I was filled with awe and astonishment when I opened to Revelation 1:7,8, and read these words of Zechariah quoted by John, ‘Behold, he cometh ... and every eye shall see him, and they also that pierced him,’ and then heard the glorified Lord saying ... ‘I am the Alpha and Omega.’ Jesus seemed to say to me, ‘Do you doubt who it is you have pierced?
