Filmed on June 3rd. My Birthday!
After a huge delay in my season due to the virus, I am finally back on track. These are my very first experiences on Oneida Lake and I am focused on learning as much as I can. Oneida Lake is a dynamic fishery which is unique in its own type of way. This Video is "Part 2" which is filmed the very next day after Part One. In "Part One" I am building my pattern from scratch, for "Part Two" I expand my pattern and become more dialed-in. This year we have experienced freakishly hot weather for the month of May and a lot of small mouth have just finished spawning. These hot weather patterns around 90 degrees had left me with many "in-active" bedding areas while many small mouth make their transition towards the post spawn. In the video I show and explain how I was able to use my electronics to my advantage to find active bedding areas.
-Starting the day with a '15 Pound Bag Minimum Goal' for best 5 fish was a rewarding accomplishment leaving me with a taste of success and in pursuit for more.
