You have NOT Failed this Review :P Sorry, someone had to do it. I'm sure I'm not the only "Arrow" Fan. Great Bows, great review as always Steven. I look forward to purchasing one from you in the coming months.

I have been shooting an Oneida lite force magnum since 97 and still LOVE it!!!!! It's not the fastest bow on the planet but it is cool when you have it out in public and everyone looses there mind over it. It looks bad ass and for whatever reason does penetrate more than other bows. Yeah it's noisey but I also have never had a deer jump the string.

Every time I watch one of your reviews I end up buying the thing!! Can't watch you anymore, need the time to shoot my PSE Xpression, Samick Discovery and now my Oneida Kestrel!!

Hi again Steve, I must comment. I had a tomcat Oneida. The best bow I have ever owned. I taught Slim Dusty how to shoot a bow when he was staying at the caravan park at hoddywell archery park (yes I have proof ask Ernie) . Anyway for some reason the company went pear shape and no one was selling them. I have photos of my arrows touching at 20 meters . I was a finger shooter then. After owning so many compounds , I have never been happy with any of them. Every one is trying to reinvent the compound. Oneida has stuck to the same concept, with some small changes, and it is my humble opinion they are the best hunting bow ever invented. Mick from N. T. Which I followed his adventures through the pages of archery magazines showed the Oneida as superior to others. Once I sell my awful Hoyt Buffalo I will be placing an order with you . 50# , I don’t need speed, I need accuracy. That’s my two bobs worth. Regards Robert. Western Australia.

A massive thank you for another really interesting bow review/video. My thing is bows but i also enjoy learning about real life outside of the UK. Many thanks.

I've got an Oneida aero and I love it. I've been shooting recurves for 20 years and I feel like it just made the Oneida a perfect fit the moment I picked it up. I'd love to get my hands on a phoenix.

had the Aeroforce X80. Beast of a bow! I remember they had their own arrow chart specifically for them. looking back today due to the energy they produced they needed the greater shaft weight. I was shooting 2117 shafts for target but 2219 for hunting. It was whisper quiet with the 2219's. Your right with the string as in the 90's S4 was coming out but dacron is just slightly more elastic and quieter. I bet a string set with 8125 would smooth that girl down also.

I had 2 Oneida Eagle bows back in the 80's. An H250 and a "Screaming Eagle" H600 I believe it was. The H250 was a great bow. Quiet. Not overly fast. Forgiving. At 60 lbs draw with 2216 Easton aluminum arrows it was a smooth, sweet shooter. Then I got the Screaming Eagle. It was fast but loud. No matter what I did I could never get it as quiet as my H250 was.

Back in 90’s I shot these bows, they sucked for blinds and heavy brushed areas. I purchased their top of the line Eagle and second day limb separated causing the bow to have to be retired etc.. I had a love hate relationship with the bow, easy to draw but slow, great for fingers shooting but louder with release aid. Also they made rubber over string guards which are a must due to debris hanging up between string and limb. Now when it comes to their prices they are smoking their lunch, for this reason with speeds etc.. I believe they will be selling out due to the market and what else you can get in comparison. For what it’s worth this is my opinion. FYI looks like whiskers will be needed which will also lower bow speeds.

They owe you a bow. Few reviewers understand these bows or give them a fair shake and your history with them shows. Rare to see someone with a solid history with the lever bows.

I have my Oneida Phoenix and it’s a recurve on steroids, as for noise it’s not that noisy if you listen to your video you’ll see. I deer hunted whitetail and didn’t have one jump the string not one.

The outer limb is carbon fiber not fiberglass. String stops should not be touching the string at rest. Oneida bows like a heavier arrow. Quiets bow and reduces the stress on cables/limbs. (They will launch a telephone pole if you have the need to.) If you shoot a quiet bow like an HTR and a Phoenix back to back with a decibel meter you'll see the Phoenix is only a few decibels louder than the quietest wheel bow out there. Certainly not as loud as you infer. If your Phoenix is as loud as an old Oneida something is wrong. They are much quieter than the old bows. Put a stab on it, get at least 380 grain arrows and make sure it is in tune.

The RPM Nitro Bows will put Oneida out of business
@zoxwolf21336 жыл бұрын
Yeah, i just ordered Nitro MAG for myself. Damn Trump politics put even greater customs expenses to European archers. My Nitro MAG cost me more than 1K USD and cheapest Oneida goes for 1600 USD. I cant justify this price for lever bow. Damn i can buy best compound and/or trad/Olympic rig for that money so i put my fate on RPM bow. I will see when got it from France but i expect Nitro will justify my expectations.

Ok, so you don't know how to time the bow, you draw the arrow back without an arrow (which is a no no) Shoot a huge group and your chronograph doesn't work because it's dark This is a terrible review!
@arroweyraud82677 жыл бұрын
Becca Irvin you can draw the bow without an arrow as much as you want just don't dry fire it. Also what does using more arrows for 1 group have to do with anything?
