I'd love to see the extra large wind turbine. It would look like those wind turbines by the road. Or an entirely new way to get power. From the ground which is called thermo...something or water power but thats like too far to the future.

Thermal power could have a heat map displayed across the ground where you would get more power, maybe increasing the further you went underground.

@@night_44000 Exactly something like that! But then you would need to craft more suits that would be able to withstand the heat. Because its no secret that there are some resources bellow the surface that we would need. Maybe we could make those different suits that could withstand different things from astronium...I don't know since thats already like too deep...And yer right there is no heat producing stuff bellow...But as I said thats like too far to the future

IMHO there needs to be a reason for more power. So far, the game doesn't really have a need for massive power like Factorio or Satisfactory. But that's not a fair comparison as this is not a factory game at all. It would be fun to revamp power consumptions so that a large printer (for example) would need 100 U/ps. Currently you don't need a whole lot to keep things going. But that could turn this into a basebuilding game instead exploration I guess.

Speaking on the gas tank for hydrazine, I kind of miss the old way where the larger shuttle had a tank and you could use the smaller containers to fill it. Wish they would come up with a way to make that work again

I have to correct my self from yesterdays online steam about thee Auto arms. They work 100% i miss understood what they are actually doing. So in short the arms are working tho 1 issue is apparent, after a time sort to long use of them they slow down IE: holding an item in the air after pick up for extended periods of time before placing it. Arms do not stop working as i once thought let me explain, they will stop working if a storage platform you are placing an item on is full & also waiting for a command to turn them back on. I watched them so see there behavior & this is what i learned about them. This all makes sense to me now. Hope this info i found out is of help. With new update coming later on the "repeat count" can help the auto arms exponentially. "Repeat count" act as a timer so arms on 10 seconds arms of 1 second. send this to are repeaters. Sorry for the long post. & props to Joe such a cool guy.

I wish the camera would actually stored the pictures you take, and then use those photos for the loading screen. If you don't have any, it would suggest taking photos and just plays a default slideshow of planet/moon images. Maybe if the camera was smart enough, it could show the default planet/moon photo and then all photos you have taken on that planet/moon after it, before moving to the next planet. Maybe it would randomly pick a planet to start on, so you don't always seem the same images.

each "piece of gas" is actually 5 charges, an old storage (8 places) practically contains 40 of gas ... the real limit is that the storage does not discriminate the objects, while the new containers do

I would like to see percentage activators for storage. So you could detect if a storage is say 50% full and then activate something. Or atleast a 6 slot platform

I wish that soil canisters, hydrazine canisters, and gas canisters had all the same canister, just because it seems a bit more realistic actually having to provide canisters for gases/hydrazine rather than having the canisters appear out of thin air

I had the shredded canister nugget explosion. If you want to replicate it you need to have the canister empty with a partial nugget on the output of the canister then insert another resource (I think it needs to be a different resource to the partial one) this then locks the canister as you cannot output the resource. Shred this for the red dot explosion.

The power splitter could be given automation functions. A logic input would shift two inputs/outputs, one would be set to full while the other is set to off. This could make an underused item very useful.

In some alpha they have a hydrazine canister. (I remember. I think it was for the (early) Chemistry Lab or for the (early) Trade Platform.)

I used to research astronium, but now its so easy to get bytes I don't even bother. My buddy played Astroneer with me for the first time, and he was asking if it was for some sort of hyperdrive engine or something. Could be cool, but I told him there is only this one solar system, and he got kinda bummed out.

Here’s a question (PS4 user, so I haven’t been able to play around with the update and find out for myself): if you put a trigger node on a packaged item and it activates, does it unpackage the item? And if so, if that packaged item is moved by the auto arms, does the node stay on it or does it get removed? Because if it unpackages upon activation and stays on when moved, then in theory you could just package the medium research items have them automated that way. Edit: Alternatively, do Research Chambers now automatically unpackage packaged research items when they’re loaded into the chambers? If they don’t, that could be an easy change the devs could make to the game to allow research items to play well with the auto arms.

I'd love it if they would fix the bit rate issue they created with their last challenge and the mass of rewards. I pulled up my last game and my base is unplayable because of the slow skipping rate. I couldn't stand it and quick before I could even get to my glass storage to make a new container. That and the game quit when I tried to record the glitch. Its unplayable on xbox.

Please that auto arm issues is terrible. I have to use the reset circuit to make my arms work, but my nanocarbon alloy setup takes 3 minutes to get into the canister. About 2 minutes and 50 seconds of that is waiting for the arm to grab the nanocarbon from the chemistry lab

I want the robot body to be more than cosmetic. Make it a real robot. You don't use oxygen when using it, you use power instead. You don't have to worry about oxygen but you do have to watch your power more closely.

Astronium should be the fuel for RTG. Should work as this stuff comes from the core. Different planets should offer different energy output. The harder the terrain the more output. Should be colored differently depending on the planet it is coming from and moons shoud not have any. Lithium is not radioactive and has no use in anything but batteries.
