Think it makes perfect sense, we have four strikers on the books but one is always injured, the other has almost zero minutes and piroe and Joseph would benefit from a third striker putting the pressure on. He’s also a slightly different profile. Whether we get him is another thing completely 😊

Long term is a great signing imo - when/if we get promoted Bamford and Joffy are both likely going which leaves just Piroe and Joseph. The latter I reckon would do well to go out on loan to a top championship side, leaving just Piroe. If there is a chance Latte Lath can acclimatise to the Prem then we should sign him.

Piroe absolutely no chance in the Premier league, joseph has attributes that suit the prem but still needs more gametime, latte is a combination of both so I'm up for it

Weirdly I think Piroe will do better in the premier league. The games are generally more open and he is notoriously poor against a low block, if things open up and he has a touch or more to shoot then he could be quite the frontman. We will have to see though. We all know how clinical he is when he gets a couple of seconds near goal

We have 2 strikers in the squad that Farke trusts and plays. You can’t rely on Bamford to be fit. If Piroe or Joseph pick up a serious injury we will be in trouble.

While I don’t think this is a priority for us right now, I do think it’s an option that I would welcome. If we sign him he adds fantastic fire power and he is in form right now. He is also very strong away from home. Also if we fail to get promotion he is a fantastic striker to have in the coming season, and if we do achieve promotion he would be a strong option for premier league, considering there are mid table teams looking at him. Ultimately a GK is what we all want and an extra 10 would be nice

Latte Lath is a Premier League quality talent. He would be an amazing add, however if we can just get more out of what we have up front, we'll be just fine.

I think the key to any signings we make now is they have to be what we are willing to have in the PL. My fear I the summer was if we got too many players in it's going to mean less we can do next season getting more quality in. But hey have actually done quite well with recruitment. We will need a lot of upgrades, but quite a few of these players I'd be happy as part of the squad next season (and a few not :p). I think Striker is a no brainer upgrade we will need next season (I think Joseph will grow into it but not starting, and Piroe for me isn't at that level), so do we get someone in now, or do we wait and get someone in once we are up and potentially attract better players? Lath is wanted by PL teams so, seems many think he's good enough but, is he? Or maybe we would get another in, and Joseph as a third option and Piroe out...

I have watched this lad fir the last couple of years, he would fit perfectly into Farkes formation. With a very high work rate, he closes defenders down out of possession and also chases back when necessary. He is constantly fouled and has an eye for the goal. Could you imgine seeing him and Piroe in a 442.

I can see the sense in signing Latte Lath - Gelhardt is done at Leeds, Bamford is unreliable re injuries, and I’m sorry to say that Joseph isn’t fulfilling the promise/potential. So I see Latte Lath as genuine competition for Piroe, and I believe both of those would be good options in the PL. That said, if we get promoted I still think we’d need a higher level first choice 9, with Piroe & Latte Lath as back ups

It's what LUFC hasn't got, a big strong centre forward who can hold the ball up and burst through defences. If it helps us get promoted we can then get rid and improve on quality. Quality not quantity is what is required in the prem.

I think this is a point of contention within the Leeds hierarchy. Farke insisted that Piroe was his 10 last year with Rutter, but that didn't seem to make any sense. Angus made a point on the square ball that Piroe "playing his natural position" at 9 would have scored more goals. Also, reference comments that Farke made about Aaronson in November. He's too frenetic, overloads the wings, and he's too tired to be clinical in front of net. His 10 should hang around the striker near the box to score. That's Piroe. That's not Aaronson. Piroe can play a through ball well. He has the assists. I don't know. This makes sense in Farke-land.

We need to go up. We don't need to dither and risk it. Admit it, our finishing is not as clinical as it should be. So if we are not going to shut the hole in our goal and make win's safe, then we need to be sure of goal's up the sharp end to ensure the win's and the points. A marksman would be that difference. Lath is that and more nimble than Piroe. Whatever, we need to stop pi**ing about and get done anything that's in the pipeline. Why do we always wait ?
