You know I feel Darnath Lysander basically emobodies the hate the Imperial fists hold for Iron Warriors. I mean he basically did what Rogal Dorn did (not as cool and not in a way so his Legion would be able to split into chapters afterwards though) The imperial fists are so driven that they nearly never retreat, That are constantly inspecting themselves of faults, and i think requiring aid makes Lysander think the Imperial fists aren't worthy. As Rogal Dorn says he feels if they made a fortress even the iron warriors wouldnt be able to break through who are also masters of siege. Perhaps the Imperial fists feel they need to hold true to that. Also Lysanders Personality reminds me of an imperial fist sub-chapter(I forgot the name of their chapter, silly me) who's numbers are nearly extinct due to their "Rush forward to victory, no retreat" Style of fighting I could be wrong and I dont know enough of 40k to be right hah this is just my own speculation and opinion I still think Lysander is pretty cool. and Eternal Warrior helps a lot haha.

Dammit! Give the imperial fists there moments of glory! Seriously, they go up against the iron warriors only to get there asses handed to them so the smurfs can get some lip service...I mean I legitimately want to see an honorary, heroic, epic, devastating, grand battle between the Imperial fists (and possibly all there successor chapters) vs the Iron hands without ANY interference from the other legions/chapters. I don't even care if the Imperial fists get there asses handed to them cause at least the battle would prove that the fists are able to fight there own battles. No I'm not ignoring the siege of terra, I'm just getting annoyed that post heresy fists have been reduced to being one of the weaker chapters...
