Literally my favourite ukulele teacher! You take in into account any struggle a new comer will have, like you explain things and looks wise everything, chords, strings are all clear to see! And you teach slow first! Thank you xx

Hey Katie! I’m a new subscriber and I saw you have a Panic! tutorial which gives me something to work towards as they are my favourite band! Im a beginner when it comes to ukulele and I was wondering if you could maybe do some songs from Pretty Odd (one of Panic! at the discos albums). The song I have friends in holy spaces in particular has a beautiful ukulele part. Your fingerpicking video has already taught me so much about playing ukulele and I would be incredibly grateful if you could do a video on the song 😄

I'm having trouble with the strumming!!!! Down down up, down down up. Am I supposed to pause after the first down down up then continue?
@OneMusicSchool7 жыл бұрын
Hi, and thanks for watching. Each down down up is worth one count, so if you want to play something for two counts, you would have to play down, down, up twice. Example: Am would be...down down up, down down up, and then you'd switch to the next chord. I hope that helps :).
@ColourfulShann7 жыл бұрын
Can some one please tell me how many times you do the Am chord after the second chorus please?
@katiedenure89797 жыл бұрын
ShannonVikki The Am chord is plays for 4 measures or 16 counts after the first chorus. After that the chorus chords repeat until the end. I hope that helps and thanks for watching 😁.

I need just the uke part without anyone singing for background music and I can’t find it ☹️
@OneMusicSchool6 жыл бұрын
Have you ever thought of recording it yourself? You don't need a fancy equipment in order to do it. Most computers come with some sort of recording software now, or most phones could do a pretty decent job. You just have to make sure you're in a room that doesn't have background noise.

Don't give up! This song can be intimidated at first, but don't let hat stop you. Slow it down, and just focus on the chord changes. Use a simple strumming pattern. Once you've mastered the chords, add the strumming pattern. Lastly, focus on progress and not perfection. I know you can do it!
