Definitely good to have some warmer clothes. After being in Thailand for a couple weeks, air conditioning starts to feel very cold 😅

Heh, just realised I was in Bangkok at probably the same time as you, 22nd Jan till 25th Feb 22', but I got there, did 7 days quarantine, , got out, walked around Suan Luang Rama IX park a couple of times, then I was in hospital and recovery for the remainder :( planning to take the family back, maybe at the end of the year.

Yep, that’s right around the time we were there. Nov ‘21 - Feb ‘22. We arrived just before Omicron forced another wave of lockdowns, and thus ended up sort of ‘stuck’ in Thailand for the next 4 months because all of the neighboring countries were closed down. It was a surreal time to be traveling around. I hope the hospital stay ended up OK. We were hearing lots of horror stories about mandatory & expensive hospital visits around that time.

We definitely did enjoy Koh Phangan 😄 I think there was just stress about the visa situation, so sorry if that made it seem like we didn't enjoy it. I think an airplane ticket would've not been much more, but we enjoy the long travel days and we prefer trains when possible 😊

Which website did you use to book your ferry, bus and train tickets?

We used dticket.railway.co.th for the train tickets. For the ferry and bus tickets we went to a travel agency in-person. There are usually lots around every city in Thailand, and they don't charge a markup for the tickets.

Hey there. Thanks for the constructive feedback, it's always appreciated. With the b-roll, it's a conscious decision on our end to heavily feature scenes of the places we're in. We're still striving to strike the perfect balance and we know there's *lots* of room for improvement. In terms of the informational aspect, we're unlikely to ever make 'guide' type videos. Our haphazard, last-minute style of travel would stop us from ever being credible guides. We will definitely make an effort to include prices as often as possible, though. Hope you are enjoying the holidays in London (and staying warm)!
