Sir, Boko haram is the creation of the descendants of Dan Fodio. This has brought nothing but misfortune to the Hausa countries. I am part of the descendants of the victims of the crimes of Dan Fodio and his children. My grandparents fled Nigeria to cross Chad and go to Mecca. A one-way trip to the Hausa countries. if you see or hear that the Hausa are in several countries neighboring or not Nigeria it is mainly because of the crimes of Dan Fodio and his people. They were looking for land for the Peuhl driven out of Mali and Guinea-Conacry. They found a welcome among the Hausa but very quickly they seized the strongholds, the lands, the fields, the palaces of the Muslim kings. In theory, is jihad against Muslims? I ask you to do a little research on this slice of history. It was a bloody time! As you speak English I ask you to follow a lady called Kaltoum Alimbé Jitami on Instagram or Facebook to hear another version of this sad story from Dan Fodio.

Look at the last 2 hundred years, the only rich Muslim countries are because western Christian countries found oil in them, once the oil runs out the6 will go back to goat herding. Every advance you look at or use has come from Christianity, doesn’t that make Muslim really feel inferior?

Thank you so much brother jazakallahu khayr, many Muslims do not consider the West African Muslims as in the Muslim world though in Nigeria there is more than 100 millions Muslims and many other countries have majority of Muslims in the region. However they are forgotten I mean a countries such as Mali , Sénégal, Guinea Conakry and Gambia , we expect more informations related to the history of Islam from these regions.

Can a video be made on Muslims that mix pagan rituals with Islamic teaching. I have known a couple African friends that oral tradition have been passed on to them and claim it to be true Islam. I’m sure this happens in many corners in the world. I believe it is very important to shed light on such topic. You have touched briefly on this subject. Thanks for this informative channel❤
@viewkallo2 жыл бұрын
not all Hausa mixed pegan with islam, there are hausa who practice paganism purely, without mixing it with islam, u can find them in some parts of Kano, katsina and Niger
@riab35912 жыл бұрын
@@viewkallo I never said “ALL” that would be me generalizing. Unfortunately there are Muslims that mix pagan practices with the Muslim tradition. This is usually orally passed on to only boys/men, these practices are claimed to be true Islamic tradition. I thought it would be nice to have a documentary that highlights that people need to be aware of Pagan/ superstitious practices that are claimed to be Islamic traditions/ rituals.

@@viewkallo You’re missing my point. I’m aware of that people practice paganism and all kind of things, that’s fine May Allah guide them. What blew my mind is finding out that Muslims mix all kinds of rituals and claim it to be Islam.

This is such an inspiring story that not only strikes me as similar to the story of the prophet (SAWS), but also serves as an idea of what we need in our modern world.

Subhaan Allaah, I thought his story would only remain known to us Nigerians, Cameroonians and some other West African countries. Masha'Allaah, may Allaah have mercy upon him and revive the ummah across the globe. Little history here, my tribesmen who were at that time traditionalists or pagans defeated the invading Sokoto forces in the middle belt region of Nigeria. Despite defeating the Muslims, my tribesmen later became Muslims, Alhamdulillaah. I am a generational Muslim as well which proves that our ancestors became Muslims not long after they defeated the Muslims.

The same Albany Zaria said that Islam came to Hausa lands since the beginning of Islam. So how can Dan Fodio, who learned the Koran in Gobir from Hausa scholars, still do jihad? This falsification of Hausa history is ridiculous.
