There are a few exceptions for the AP per slot for gear, Lutes and possibly other instruments are actually worth more than the other items of the same slot size and rarity, for example a purple lute is worth 72AP instead of 60AP

No. Instruments are like the other utility items and only give points based on rarity. A purple lute only gives 5 AP instead of 60 or 72 AP.

Solo is just crazy. Low amount of portals and we still have teamers in goblin caves. I've started doing duos as a solo because it feels better to go up against 2 people rather than a group of 3 in goblin caves. And there are so many outs in ice caves

Yeah, I mean... Continuing along with your last train of thought: I'm very good at this game. (Lol feels weird to type, but its true) Hit demi a couple days back, but only because I had a three day weekend with absolutely nothing going on. I generally just do not have the time to run very many games. Some days I dont get a chance to play at all. Busy life, lots of work. The current AP system is cool, if a bit trival. I'll echo what the man was saying: it's a timesink and once you learn a method that works for you, it becomes even easier but still a timesink. Im not all that worried about it though. Im thinking they'll have it sorted out soon enough. Time will tell, yeah?

Exactly how he described it... swapping gear was a game changer for my grind to Demi. 300-400 runs turned into 500-700 runs instantly. It took me any my buddy a solid 3 days to get up to Voyager, then I got 16k points in one day when I started abusing this. I ran slayer fighter and would even swap my crossbow at the tail end of the raid. Of course drop all your bolts and meds at the end too. A purple Pavise... mmmm mm... so much AP. Only thing I wouldn't swap was a solid Falchion/Short Sword.

I just hit demigod yesterday and I'm convinced that all you need to do, or should do if you are wanting to speed run your way there is ice caves hitting the pile and chests on your way out. Pvp is optional and even encouraged if you can isolate players especially if they have also looted the pile. The most important thing is that you survive. If you only got a hundred or so because you were safe- that's perfect because you did not die. I wouldn't run ruins, unless you're going to hell(I haven't got much experience there to know if it's worth it as I have only gone to crypts), because you will only get around 2-400 on average with a higher likelihood of death with a significantly higher drop of AP if you die on the higher ranks especially. You'll get 2-600 points from hitting the pile plus other loot, and get it very consistently if you rush the pile. Trust me on this and your experience should be smoother and more efficient with less effort👍👍

I also would not run Goblin caves if you are looking to avoid PVP as there are fewer portals and barely anyone will be friendly because of it. As for me, I play passively but do not team and you will go a long way in the current game state of you play passive with players on ice caves mainly. Bring a luck pot too, that helps sometimes

ruins solo is absolutely always worth running if you go all the way to hell, imo people usually play friendly and you can rack up to 1k ap for getting down to hell, and ur totally correct GC is just a death match not worth going unless your a pvp chad

this is a great strat! Lots of people have trouble with getting contested on the pile, though, and the pvp can be tough to overcome if you keep losing/taking setbacks from dying.

I'm pretty sure that rings, necks and bard instruments are just like the other utility items and only give points based on rarity. A purple neck only gives 5 AP instead of 20 AP.

calculate in ur head when ruins is in rotation for you and run it as much as you can, if u get to hell u can make past 1k ap it’ll be the only way at this late in the season

This all assumes you can actually be picky about what you loot of course. In ice caves I have just enough time to clear and loot maybe a cell and a half. However what I have been doing is just running in basic gear even my weapon(s). Hit kind of a gear/gold/mental road block on my warlock. So started over on a fighter last night and caught up to my warlock in about 5 hours. Best thing about doing it on a fighter too is with one perk I can equip any weapon. So will dump my crossbow for a big weapon or a main hand and a shield depending on what I come across. Also it may cost you a bit of gold but dumping meds (if you have any left) at the end and spreading candy into those slots is good too. I find at least a few candy just about every time I go into Ice Caves. Did not know about the bonus points for each item, the candy split thing, and really thought gold gave 1 ap per gold. Guess I will just ignore gold as I easily make more gold from putting gear I come out with on the market. It is very possible that gold is not being counted as if 1 gold was worth 1 ap and gave you 5 ap for being a unique item then if you found 50 gold from a couple of mobs or chests you could just fill all 50 slots of your inventory for 300ap and combine that with swapping the gear you are wearing you easily would be at 500 ap minimum per run. Then just start restacking gold if you found really high value items (or even just drop the gold for the space because what is 4 gold for a platter?). I will for sure keep in mind to drop my meds to fill those spots with candy I find at the end though. Been doing it on ice caves solo though so I do have to wait a couple of minutes between runs. Kind of wish I knew you did not really run into anyone on duos but it is too late to go to duos now to do it with only 6 days left. If I make it on my fighter in solo then my day off early next week I might see how far I can get on another character doing that.

Warlock is such a weird class. At the low end it's terrible, at the high end it's probably the best class. Cost so much to be viable and you still can easily die to a single mistake. Wizard is similar.

From my experience on this map, the mob density didnt seem too much, i actually prefer the mobs stopping rushers on spawn killing, since that makes the game less kill focused and "Dungeon Crawling" as the experience of the dungeon crawling is to leave with treasure, sure it has pvp, but a extraction game is not obligated to happen in every match. What i see a lot of people compain is that this map the pvp doesnt happen because of map, or that its not fun, honestly it does happen if you go the pile or even when you meet another group that knows how to loot and clear, which sure it takes a longer time, but its duable if you take your time. Its in my opinion better than ruins as it doesnt force you to just rush in to survive, but lets you create other options by not pushing you. I hit demigod solo as a warlock by mostly avoiding pvp, but when i had no chance i still 1v2ed and won 4 encounters. Funny enough I did get to watch 5 groups kill each other while I was invisible under a stair due to a purple invis pot, so I was able to witness a war lol. In general i thing this map has great potential and is the right way to stop the spawn killing. Regarding the ap system, uhhh i like and dislike it? Its hard to say, it makes it duable for most people, but those that want to "assert dominance" with kills(not the best term for this but works) i think there should be a different leaderboard for kills with different rewards and such. Making so two kinds of players can achieve things they are good at. Or rather thats what i managed to come up with. Maybe not the best solution but at least better than not trying to think of one.

I'm curious. Does the player base like this extraction tally system? I feel like it may encourage people to not even play once they hit Demigod and you're optimizing runs so you can do "less of them". They've created a system where your primary goal for optimizing is by playing less. That just doesn't sound healthy for the game. And I'd rather them put time into real content like monsters, dungeons, characters, itemization than a system that scores your trinket loot and gives you a few items next season 🤷‍♂️ I get that players may not technically play less, but they probably will play less on their Demigods to not risk losing their status.

0:51 the only thing those dummy devs need to change is the amount of time they actually play the game on each class to learn how to balance. And to remove the AP entry fee if you escape. To avoid people abusing this, you should have to do x amount of actions to get your refund.

If you go in semi-geared (+15magic damage +15 healing) as warlock you can get demi in 1-2 days. Around 40-50 games. 1k-1.5k Ap a game because you can kill 60 mobs + loot full 10+ ap per slot value items. Flamewalk spam pull rooms with hellfire and dot heals. Costs nothing to gear this and super low chance to die on ice map

Sir +15 healing with that much damage is not a “cheap” build. You’re talking several thousand gold minimum in gear. The market gouges damage and healing gear, especially if you’re trying to get both on jewelry, which you would have to do in order to get the stats you’re citing

Simple-----> Break crates Grab collectables (Yes Only Collectables or you will have horrrrrible ap) Green and Higher Collectables if single slot, 2 slot or higher are viable if single slots are not found (not green 4 or 8 slotters, instead grab purple 4 slot gear) Open lionheads,golden chests ext. Try to bring in 6 lockpicks a run if not 3 will do fine Kill all the mobs you can muster you get good ap from this Go Red in all instances and wait till the last second to open all portals (Blue and red) Once in hell, clear rooms such as the ones with Berserkers,Big Centaur bois, etc being as these are typically the modules that have lionsheads,golden chests and typically the ones with the most of those rarity chests. (also kill all Big boys Wraiths included to get alot of ap as well) Before leaving Hell drop all heals (Excluding blue pots or lockpicks, just put those in your hotbar) and instead drop for lower grade collectables or fill empty slots with Blue or Purple gear (Legendary if possible). Rinse Repeat bababooi you should be getting 1300-1600 in Blue and Purple Rank, Exemplar 900-1300 Adventure Points on average

@@newalpha1276 oh you can easily do it on solos, if you wait for solo crypts on the rotation you can do the explained method above and once you get to hell you can finish all of hell but then you’ll just make it off of the solo rotation by about 1 minute 30 so if you end up finding a portal on the 2nd to last close you can quickly sell your stuff or put the collectibles in your cache and barely have enough time to buy heals etc and go again, I recently was bored and wanted to do it on my barb after getting Demi on fighter and am currently exemplar after the newest update (market place)

Why do I randomly lose ap? Like I just extracted and got 570 ap. The entrance fee was 180. So why did I drop a whole rank in one game? I should be gaining and I randomly just lose 1k ap. @@hobosnake1you are gaining rank. Pathfinder 3 is the lowest Pathfinder, not Pathfinder 1. Progress goes Pathfinder 3->2->1->Voyager 3->2->1->Exemplar 3, etc.
