With the iphone your face looks either orange or pink, your face has no details (5:26) and the jacket and sky have a fake blue tint (5:21). I don´t like the Pixel as a phone, but definitely wins the portrait round here: your jacket appears black, your face details are maintained and has the best colours.

I preferred the iPhone by a ways. Mind you photos are very subjective so it depends on what look you are after. the iPhone goes for the natural flavour but you can adjust with the presets if you want, say more contrast or vibrancy. I have both the Pixel and iPhone so can confirm the iPhone is better (for me) as it gives truer colours and in my job, clients do not want fake saturation. The Pixel def has the better zoom though.

How can you say the iphone has truer colours when photos are showing the opposite. iphones, for example, always give an orangish tint to people´s faces and forces the sky to look blue, even in cloudy days (gray clouds look blue). If you do have both phones, I am sure you would have seen this.

Agreed. I initially saw this review on the arena and I was dumbfounded. His analysis about flat, abysmal and lacking details are relative to the One+. I also noticed these shots were not labeled while all the others were. He obviously got the Pixel and One+ portrait photos mixed up. Pixel looks more realistic. Iphone looks social media ready. Regardless your choice, those pics are miles ahead of One+'s portrait shots. That is not subjective.

The expectations for the Pixel were extremely high as well. That's Google's fault, but it did result in Pixel's best sales ever. The more I look at the video, the more I can see promise in the Pixel. Although the iPhone is still the king, the Pixel does seem to have better dynamic range. It suffers from the ability to process the video in real time, with its lack of HDR capabilities and struggling with jitter in low light situations. I don't think the first Tensor is going to be enough, but potentially when they have a processor that is as capable as the A15 and beyond, I think it will give the iPhone a run for the money, and potentially overtake it.

I know for sure I'm not going blind but at 5:45 to 5:50. There is small stuttering or the stabilization is not being picked up in the iPhone but it looks like it's panning very stiff. You can see the stabilization working until it picks up the light that it starts hesitating and when he pans back it does it again. Then in 6:30 how come both the Pixel 6 Pro and the iPhone both have blurs in the tree area where the OnePlus 10 managed to get the detail, of course while still blowing out the lighting. Just saying if we really nitpick none of these phones really held up well without having a flaw every second or two. If we're going to say the Pixel 6 Pro had a jitter when walking then we should call out the jitter on the iPhone in the time stated above at 5:45.

Honestly, as someone who doesnt post photos to social media, or take professional photos, the oneplus does what i need it to, bloat-free OS with access to customization that Apple doesnt have: apk access, I cant tell you how many times Apple bans apps and features for political reasons. Add onto that Apple's new spying tech, samsung bloatware and throttling, google overwhelming invasive programs, and im only left with oneplus as an option in my eyes, as long as it keeps its lightweight oxygen OS for western release. Maybe I need to dig deeper though?

Great review!! I've owned most brands out there from Nokia, LG, Sony, Samsung Pixels, OP to even Moto & Sharp. When it comes to every day "user experience" (or software) OP is second to none!! However, model after model, the cameras always seem to be the one achilles heel. Although good enough for social media standards, always behind the main players. I've just learned to carry my compact camera around (Canon g7x mark ii) for when the occasion deserves it.

The front camera is definitely lacking, but I found the pictures from the rear camera quite a bit better in most of those examples. I was very surprised actually. It's definetly sharper than the iPhone rear camera is almost every aspect. Giving the portrait mode round to the iPhone was an ABSOLUTE JOKE! Pixel is amazing. I had it and the s21 ultra and pixel was way ahead in cameras and surprisingly in speakers too. The only downside perhaps that limit it's potential is the CPU that is too new and a bit under the rest, but expect that pixel 7 pro fix that in portraits and some low light conditions!

I have both and the Pixel is very inconsistent. Just had a major photo app update and I am testing that out, but at the moment the Pixel 6 camera is a bit flakey at times and I have gone back to my Pixel 5 for photos. I am sure in a few months we will get more consistency and it will vie with the iPhone for best photography, and I assume both will be behind the S22U and P50 Pro.

At 5:16 the Oneplus has extreme blur and oil painting effect, his cheeks look smeared out and his beard is.. gone. Exactly how Oneplus' cameras have always performed. For me the Pixel is actually the clear winner there, super sharp and realistic picture.

I'm not sure why u say the camera is flat in terms of color. The reason for it from what I had heard was that the phone is to give a flat profile to people who want to edit in post. I think they are better if you have a specific thought in mind and want to edit plus there are Hasseblad filters in the gallery that will adjust the color profile after it's taken. This video seems kinda biased to me and I'll give a thumbs down. Nice try thoough.

Pixel 6 pro is just so much better then iphone in terms of photography not even close battle there. In terms of video they are almost identical. Overall Pixel has much complex OS and much better price. Overall EASY winner. Iphone overpriced AGAIN.

He said that the Pixel got the colours wrong. I am assuming he knows what the clothes real colours are and that is why he said that the Pixel was inconsistent. Hate this review he just keeps talking about how saturated and colorful the iPhone and pixel images are , when the whole point of the hasselblad partnership is to get more accurate real life colors , which it accomplishes. And I have a pixel 6 pro

Accuracy goes for pixel just loon at the sky iphone and oneplus dial the contrast up also danny winget comparison showed it top, oneplus is not scene accurate but an improvement to the 9 pro

I upgraded from 5 to 7T but was not satisfied with Camera. Time to let go of Oneplus phones now.
