The OP11 is an underrated phone. Had the Pixel 7 Pro and S23U before it and although it's not as flash or versatile in the camera department I'd take this over the other two devices any day. The phone just does everything well and is a solid device

I'm excited to try it out. I went from Pixel 6 Pro to S22U to iPhone 13 PM to Pixel 7 Pro back to S21U and now the OnePlus 11. I think for day to day use it will be a far better phone. The charging speeds are what I'm most stoked about. My main concern is snapping photos of my fast moving kiddos.

I've been using my 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage version since February and I absolutely love it. This phone is smooth as silk and is probably the best device that they've ever designed. Although, my preference is factory unlocked or nothing.

I just bought two 16GB OnePlus 11's at Best Buy for $599.99. We have two Pixel 6 Pros that we haven't used in almost a year because they were so glitchy. The updates usually messed something up and we finally just gave up on them and bought a couple of Motorola Edge Plus 2022's, which are great. We had OnePlus 8 Pros several years ago and loved them and we are ready to try OnePlus again as this looks like a GREAT phone! I don't care one iota about wireless charging or water resistance so that won't be a problem at all. I can hardly wait 'til they're here! Thank you for your informative and interesting videos. 🙂

I swapped my iPhone 13 for a Pixel 7 in February and have been so happy with it. My only beef is the battery life. I checked trade in value at Best Buy and the net spend for this OnePlus is still $304 all-in, so probably more than I'd want to spend to just beef up battery life at the sacrifice of lower picture quality, no magic eraser, etc. I just love the Pixel camera and features so much.

I had the Pixel 7 Pro and am getting the OnePlus 11. The better battery life and really fast charging is worth the trade off in camera processing. If you are a Google One subscriber you still get some of the photo editing tools the Pixels have.
@ArthurZakaryan23
@ArthurZakaryan23 Жыл бұрын
I think if I had never gotten a Pixel then for me, in the US, the OP11 would be a no-brainer especially at $699, for someone who doesn't want a Samsung. The other differences between a Pixel 7 Pro for instance and this i.e. wireless charging and an official IP rating, these are not dealbreakers for me personally, just niceties. I have gotten accustomed to charging wirelessly previously with the Pixel 6 and now 7 Pro, just topping off/remaining at 100% throughout the day during work where I would previously not be charging my phone wired so the convenience factor, depending on your situation is nice. One key thing with phones like the OP11 that includes a fast charging brick that should be mentioned more often, to get those fast charging times, you have to use the included charger. Now I don't know this for sure but maybe someone can chime in but can the OP11 charge at up to 80W with any other charger capable of at least 80W? OP uses their proprietary charging tech called SuperVOOC but I can't say with certainty if you can get those charging speeds with any other charger.
@Betancourtdm
@Betancourtdm Жыл бұрын
It definitely changed the way I charged my phone. Every phone I've had before I charge overnight. There OP11 usually has 40-50% by the end of the night and barely drains on standby so I charge it to 100 while in the shower

@@hotsauce6310 the phone is significantly less hot when fast charging as compared to my earlier iphone xr when connected to a fast charger of much lower wattage. These people are really innovating, and charging a fair value for their goods. Where I live, iphones are just bad deals, and they're getting worse & worse. I could buy one if I really really wanted to, but I refuse to be fleeced by these people anymore. I think the Best Buy carrier deals on AT&T and T-Mobile are great alternatives after the Oneplus 11 was dropped from T-Mobile. Probably a better deal than you would have gotten if it was a T-Mobile exclusive again, which would probably be bill credits for 2 years locking you in. Once I got my Oneplus 11 activated on T-Mobile through Best Buy, I was able to cancel T-Mobile and use it on any carrier I wanted. It's not locked to T-Mobile. Not sure about AT&T, Verizon, or Google Fi though.

I picked up a refurbished 16/512GB S21U from Amazon in May, and was disappointed with 1+ over the past few years but it seems they are coming back around. Still in the return window on the Ultra so I'll be comparing them and returning the "loser". At that price I figured it was worth a shot. Its silly but the 100W charging is what got my attention. I own both the Pixel 7 Pro and OnePlus 11. The latter provides longer battery life, great performance, and as for the camera its decent. It might not have the same reputation as a Pixel camera, but (and this is a hot take), I think it is better. Images are crisp, more detailed, and the Hassleblad color science is top notch this time around. Although it might not zoom in as much as the Pixel 7 Pro, it'll do more times than not. OnePlus tends to have warmer images whereas Pixel has cooler images but most of that can be resolved in editing. My OnePlus 11 almost never overheats, but my Pixel 7 Pro always does. If you get it, I suggest using a wireless charging pad with a built in fan to keep it cool overnight. That's what I do when I'm using it. Charging on the OnePlus 11 gets the phone warm, but it's so fast and convenient using the 80wat charger that came in the box. If you can wait, I would hold off and see about the Pixel 8 Pro. The Tensor G3 might be a step below the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and will be optimized specifically for the Pixel 8 Pro. Furthermore, it'll have massive camera upgrades. If you can't wait that long, but still aren't sold on either the P7P or 1+11 you could check out the Nothing Phone 2 coming out next month.

I also had the OP 11 at release and then traded for the S23 smaller phone (due to ecosystem) and the Oneplus photos are better IMO, especially the nighttime photos.
